Amelia's POV

Monday morning
Last Friday Levi hung out with his friends all night, so I covered for him as promised. I told our parents that he was helping these kids from his class study because his teacher said he's a good role model. Somehow they believed it.

Other than that my weekend was the same old, my dad getting mad and yelling at me before hitting me. But I'd rather it be me than Levi so it's fine.

My morning was quiet, well until I got to school. All these annoying children crowding the halls. I went to my first class a bit earlier than normal just for some silence.

It was only me in the room, not even the teacher. So I was surprised when the classroom door suddenly swung open, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"I'M NOT LATE!" I narrowed my eyes in confusion while the girl put a hand over her mouth, "Oh my god." She said, her hand muffled her speaking.

"I am so sorry, I didn't know that classes didn't start yet."

"It's okay." I gave her a small smile before looking back down at my book.

"Can I sit next to you?" I looked back up and realized she was still talking to me, "Sure if you would like."

She nodded and walked over to me, "What's your name?"

"Amelia."

"Your really pretty." She said bluntly as she sat down beside me.

My eyes widened, "T-Thank you um what's your name?"

"Paris."

"That's a really nice I like that name." I said being honest.

"Thank you Amy." I raised an eyebrow at the nickname, "Wait what's your last name?"

"Stewart, why?"

"Well I'll call you Stewart, Amelia or anything else I can think of because I hated calling you Amy but I love nicknames."

I smiled at her comment before agreeing, "Alright then."

Paris leaned her head on my shoulder, "So how long have you been going to this school?"

"Today makes an official week that I've been here."

Paris nodded, "I can't wait for us to make fun of people."

"What?"

"I said I can't wait for us to make fun of people, since we're friends now y'know?"

We're friends?

"That sounds kinda rude though."

"Fine, we can make fun of people who are rude to others."

"Okay then." I agreed still a bit skeptical.

The classroom door opened and a few students walked in before the teacher. The bell rang, more students entering before the teacher started his lesson.
