Amelia's POV

Thursday night
Tom dropped me off at home about half an hour ago, dinner went really well. I procrastinated for a while before sitting at my desk and taking off my makeup. I was still wearing my dress but I had taken off my jewelry.

A sudden knock on my window pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked over and saw Tom, he was smiling like a schoolboy. I immediately stood up and opened the window.

Tom climbed in, "Sorry I came this way, I just didn't know if anyone was home."

"It's okay, no ones here." He nodded, we stayed silent for a few seconds.

"I didn't think I'd see you anymore till after Christmas."

"Well, here I am." Tom had changed into different clothes which consisted of a black T-shirt and grey sweats, he also had a bag on his back.

"Indeed you are." I said before it went silent again. Why is this awkward?

He took off his bag and rummaged through it, he bit his lip as he took out a little pink box.

"Merry Christmas Amelia." Tom placed the small box in my hands. He looked at me with the cutest smile spread across his perfect lips.

"But Christmas isn't for like another two days? And I thought we weren't getting each other gifts?"

He shrugged, "Who says we always have to be traditional."

I admire it for a moment, tracing my finger over the white ribbon that held the box closed. I looked up at Tom, he motions for me to open the box. I carefully untied the ribbon, letting it fall to the ground. I lifted the lid and my heart instantly melted.

There laid a beautiful gold, heart-shaped necklace. I looked at it carefully, lifting it a bit with my finger to get a better look. It was a locket with a tiny rose and leaves engraved in it. I was in awe looking at the gorgeous necklace. Tom smiled at my reaction and took the box from me. (Photo at the top)

Oh god, that must've been expensive.

He took out the locket and opened it, placing it back in my hands. He put the small pink box down on my desk. Looking closer I saw that the small photo inside was the picture of Tom, Nikki and me at the pumpkin patch.

"Why are you crying?" He asked. I didn't realize I was crying until he had pointed it out, this is too much.

"I didn't get you anything, I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize it's alright." He shrugged, "I wanted to surprise you."

I placed the necklace down, "Is there anything you want?"

"Nope, I just want you."

I wiped my tears and nodded, "Thank you so much." I sobbed. Tom grabbed my hands and pulled me into a hug.

"You know how in some movies they have those cliche bad boys?" He whispered, rocking us side to side.

"Um, yea?" Where's this going?

"Well I'm one of the good boys, I'd never hurt you."

I rolled my eyes and pushed him away by his shoulders, "That was so cringe, I'm gonna cry even more."

Tom rolled his eyes with a smile, "Want me to help you put it on?" He gestured towards the necklace.

I nod, "Please."

Tom picked up the necklace as I turned around. He gently moved all my hair to rest on my left shoulder. He wrapped the necklace around my neck, looking over my shoulder to make sure the necklace was the right way before clasping it closed.
