Amelia's POVSunday night
It's been a few hours since we went on that walk, I've been playing cards and somehow learned how to whistle. I also read a few chapters of a book been into lately.I had just finished tidying my room when my mother called out for me, "Amelia dinners ready!"
I quickly made my way downstairs and reunited with the rest of my family. My father was at the head of the table, Levi sat next to him, and my mother was bringing over the food.
"Amelia get drinks for the table." I walked over to the cupboard and took out three glasses, setting them down I grabbed juice from the fridge.
I poured the juice into all the cups and took two of them over to my mom and dad. I walked back to put the juice away and grabbed myself water, I picked up Levi's cup and brought it over to him as well.
"Thanks Millie." I nodded and opened my water, we ate silently once again until this time my mother decided to break the silence.
"So are you two excited about going to school tomorrow?" I looked at Levi, he had a worried expression.
I cleared my throat, "Yea we're both ready and I hope it's as good as the last school."
She nods in agreement, "What about you son?"
Levi looked up at her, "Huh? Oh sorry mum I got distracted by the food it's like I forgot how amazing your cooking was since this morning." He laughed at himself awkwardly.
My mother smiled at his comment, before she could respond my father cut in.
"Well thank you Levi for swooning your mother." His words were sarcastic, "After your done eating its bedtime for everyone."
He stood up abruptly, disappearing into the backyard. We finished eating without saying another word. After I finished I placed my plate in the sink and thanked my mother before going upstairs.
I closed my door quietly and looked around my room, walking over to my backpack I made sure all of my school supplies were in there. I put my uniform at the front of my closet so it was easily accessible for tomorrow. I opened my window slightly for some breeze and turned off my light.
I checked my phone to see the time 7:56, an early night I suppose. I made sure my alarm was set for tomorrow, laid down and drifted to sleep.
