Amelia's POVSunday night
I somehow convinced my mother to drop me off at the pizza place down the road from Tom's house, she wasn't very keen on me going out tonight. The only reason she agreed is because she thinks that it's just going to be me and Paris hanging out.I also persuaded her to let my brother come with me. Speaking of Levi he said he'd catch a ride with Lindsey so I'm on my own. Everyone should be arriving at Tom's around the same time as me.
I picked up the pizzas and made my way down the road. Thankfully it wasn't that hot, it was a bit breezy actually. Not many people were out so it was extremely quiet. I walked up the front steps of Tom's house and rang the doorbell, a few seconds went by before he opened it.
I greeted him with a smile, "Hi."
"Hey pretty girl." Tom opened the door wider, grabbing the pizza boxes from me he walked into the kitchen and placed them down on the counter next to the snacks he bought.
I closed the front door and made my way over to him, "Can I use your bathroom?" Tom nods. I gave him a bright smile as I walked over to the bathroom.
Right as I opened the door Tom yelled, "Let me get a hug first!"
He quickly ran up to me with his arms open, I playfully rolled my eyes and gave him a side hug. I pulled away, causing him to let out a dramatic gasp.
"That was not a hug!" Tom tried to sound angry but failed miserably. He grabbed my arms and wrapped both of them around his neck. I instantly winced in pain, dropping my arms.
"Tom be careful!" I turned around and walked into the bathroom, Tom following right behind me. I know what's about to happen, fuck my life.
He closed the door behind him after he came in, "Let me see."
"Tom please." His jaw tensed as he stayed silent.
"Can we not do this?" He didn't answer me once again.
This seriously had to happen right now? Tonight was supposed to be fun.
I rolled my eyes in frustration, turning around I pulled my hoodie over my head. I hesitantly moved my bra strap down my shoulder so he could get a better look.
"My god." He muttered, "Baby w-"
The sound of the doorbell cut him off, lucky me. I quickly fixed my bra and pulled my hoodie back on.
"Amelia they can wait." I didn't respond as I walked out of the bathroom, back to the front. I ignored Tom as he called out for me, we can't keep our guests waiting.
"Amelia." Tom said, this time in a more demanding tone.
"I'm fine." I said, finally acknowledging him. I opened the front door and put on a bright smile.
"Hey guys!" Everyone greeted Tom and me with a smile as they entered the house. The last two people that walked in were Levi and Lindsey.
I smile, "Hey Lindsey, it's nice to see you again!"
"It's great seeing you too! I'm glad Levi invited me." She turned and looked at Levi, immediately blushing. I motioned for them to come inside. I closed the door as the three of us walked into the living room where the others were sat.
Harrison and his girlfriend grace had grabbed all the food and taken it into the living room. Everything was laid out on the coffee table. In front of the coffee table there were two blowup mattresses.
Paris took a seat next to the armrest of the couch, opposite of where Harrison sat. Harrison sat next to the other armrest of the couch with a footrest by his feet. Grace sat next to him while Wyatt and another girl sat on the only available seats between them.
The couch was filled but luckily there were mattresses on the floor. Tom must have gone and bought them today. Lindsey and Levi could lay on one while Tom and I lay on the other. This way everyone has a comfortable seat and could have a perfect view of the TV.
We all wanted a chill night to just be in each other's company and that's exactly what we got. See? Not all good things get ruined.
Although thinking back to a few minutes ago I don't think Wyatt's girlfriend introduced herself. So me being the nice person I am, I walked over and smiled at her.
"Hey I'm Amelia." I held my hand out. She looked me up and down before looking back at Wyatt, continuing their conversation.
Wyatt instantly frowned at her actions, "Introduce yourself Ari."
The girl rolled her eyes, "My name is Arianna, can you stop looking at my man now?"
My eyes widened, girl trust me nobody wants your man.
Wyatt rolled his eyes, "Sorry Amelia, she's just having a bad day."
"It's alright, have some pizza there's a lot and we got you barbecue chips."
"Ugh this is why I love you!" Arianna hit Wyatt's chest, not in a playful way.
"Don't you love me?"
"Um I-" He cut himself off, I walked away before things got worse. Arianna is decently pretty, her name is pretty as well but her personality, that's debatable.
Tom walked into the living room with some paper plates and bottles of water, handing one of each to everyone. He came up to me last, "Water?"
I nod, "Thanks." He nodded as he placed the spare plates on the coffee table.
"Everyone get comfortable and agree on a scary movie." Tom said as he laid down on the mattress closest to him. I sat down by his legs as I watch Levi turned off the light.
He laid down next to Lindsey, she instantly cuddled into his chest. I know for a fact my brother's face turned bright red. I smiled, he really likes her.
Harrison and Grace cuddled while Arianna continuously tried to climb into Wyatt's lap. On the other hand Paris was having the time of her life with pizza and chips, this is why she's my best friend.
Tom nudged my back with his leg gently, I looked back at him. His arms were stretched out as a signal for me to lay with him. I obliged and laid with him, my head comfortably situated in the crook of his neck. An arm of mine was draped over his stomach as our legs intertwined.
Tom kissed my head before laying a blanket over us as someone started the movie. Everyone agreed we should start with Annabella.
A few hours later...
We've watched another two or three movies since Annabelle. It was quiet other than a few gasps or squeals from us getting scared every so often.
"Lia are you awake?" Tom asked, speaking just above a whisper. He subconsciously began tracing shapes on my exposed waist, "Baby?"
"Mhm?"
"Are you okay?"
"Yea why?"
"I really wanna talk about earlier."
"Not now." Even though everyone was probably already asleep I still didn't want to talk right now.
"Can we talk later?"
"I'm gonna be asleep later."
"So when can we talk about it?"
"Can you just forget it happened for now?"
"How am I supposed to just forget that my girlfriend showed up at my house with a huge ass bruise on her back? Do you think I'm stupid?"
"No your not stupid, please just not now." I looked up at him, "Please?" I repeated, slightly begging this time.
"I can't just forget about it when you always have random bruises or have a black eye." I sighed, looking back down at the tv.
"Who's hurting you? I know someone is you can't lie to me."
"Tommy we can do this another day, I promise. Just not now." With that, we fell silent.
