Lindsey

Levi's POV

Sunday afternoon
Millie asked if I wanted to hang out with her, Tom and a few of their other friends later tonight for Halloween, of course I agreed. She also suggested for me to bring some friends.

The first person that came to my mind was Lindsey.

My uh, I don't know. I guess we're friends? She's always flirting with me I know that much. Maybe she likes me? Probably not, I think it's just her being friendly.

I decided to ask Lindsey to meet up at a park so I could invite her. It wasn't a far walk so she agreed and said she was excited to see me again.

I was sat under a large oak tree, waiting for Lindsey to show up when I heard my name being called.

"Vi hey!" I looked around a bit frantic, trying to find the voice. I saw her walking up to me from across the park. I stood up and began walking towards her as well, very nervously may I add.

"Vi I missed you!" Lindsey said as she threw herself into my arms once she was close enough.

"I-I saw you yesterday." I responded, letting out a nervous laugh. Lindsey pulled away, keeping her soft hands on my shoulders as she tilted her head to the side.

"So what I can't miss my favourite guy?" I didn't know what else to do except shrug.

Lindsey smiles, "Your a weirdo!"

I gave her a small smile before she continued, "So what's up?" She asked as she crossed her arms.

"Oh right uh d-do you have anything planned t-tonight?"

"Nope, I'll probably just be at home. Why?"

"Would you wanna come with me to a little get-together tonight? Um, it's gonna be my sister and her friends." Lindsey stayed quiet.

I looked down at my feet, "I-I know it's really sudden but I only found out last night and I didn't wanna ask you over text, y-you don't have to come-"

"I'll go." She cut me off, uncrossing her arms.

I looked up in disbelief, "R-Really?"

"Hell fucking yes! I get to hang out with you and your sister I've been wanting to meet her again!" Lindsey explains, way more excited than I thought she'd be.

"A-Alright then well maybe later we can ride there together?"

She nodded with a smile, "For sure."

"Cool." I picked at my fingers, "If you want you can bring someone else?" I suggested.

Lindsey's eyebrows furrowed, "No way Vi, I'm gonna hang out with you silly. Well your sister and her friends will be there but who cares."

She shrugged, "It'll be like a double date just with a few extra people."

Does she think this is a date? Would she want to go on a date with me? Should I ask her out? Hell no!

She's in the grade above me there are plenty of guys she would like, she's just being nice.

"Levi are you alright? Your face is bright red." Lindsey cupped my face, her cold hands making my blush fade away slightly. I realized her body was very close to mine and she was touching my face. The blush instantly crept onto my face once again.

The sound of my phone vibrating in my pocket made me jump back, her soft hands leaving my face.

"Sorry Lindsey t-that's probably my mum, I need to get going."

She nodded in understanding, "I'll come to pick you up later Vi."

"Thanks have a good afternoon." I gave Lindsey a small wave as I left.
