Amelia's POV

Monday morning
"Hey uh Tom?" I tapped his shoulder. We were currently both outside, Tom sat on a bench while I stood behind him. I haven't seen him since yesterday morning and I just wanted to check on him.

"Oh hi Amelia."

I gave him a nervous smile, "May I sit with you?" He nods instantly. I sat next to him and picked at my nails anxiously.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked, not making eye contact.

"Yea thanks, h-how are you?"

"I'm fine." Tom gives me an awkward smile making us both fall into silence and it would have stayed that way if our friends hadn't made their way over to us.

"WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP STANLEY MY MAN!" Wyatt yelled, patting Tom's back before sitting across from him. Harrison sat across from me and gave me a friendly smile, which I immediately returned.

Wyatt clapped his hands, "Okay first of all tomorrow we don't have school." We all silently cheered in excitement.

"Second Aiden, Oliver and I went to the craziest party Saturday night you guys missed out!" He nudged Harrison's arm. The blonde forced a smile, continuing to stay silent.

"Where were you Stanley? I didn't hear from you."

Tom's eye widened at the sudden question, "I-I um was just y'know." He shrugged adding, "Busy."

Wyatt rolled his eyes playfully, "You were busy? Busy with what!"

"Me." I blurted out. I realized how sexual that sounded so I spoke again, "Tom was helping me out with some studying I had to get done."

"Oh that's alright." Wyatt shrugged, "At least I know he wasn't ignoring me then."

I nod quickly and stand up, "I'm gonna go, see you guys later!"

I rushed back into the school. The halls were empty since it was still lunchtime.

"Lia?"

My head instantly snapped toward the voice, "Tom?"

How did he get here so fast!

He stepped closer to me, "Thank you for not telling Wyatt."

"It's nothing, no need to thank me. It wasn't my business to tell." Tom was now even closer, so close that our chests were only a few centimetres away from touching.

"I wanna tell you something so bad but I don't want you to hate me."

I gave him a look of confusion.

"Can I show you instead?" I nod hesitantly. Tom cups my face and slowly pulls me into a soft, affectionate kiss.

Tom's rough hands were gentle on my skin, my heart fluttered in excitement. His lips were slightly chapped yet still tasted absolutely amazing.

I raised my hands, grabbing Tom's wrists. I pulled them down slowly as we pulled away, we were both clearly very flustered.
