"You're early, as always," Chenle's supervisor commented and ushered the boy in to the bar, pushing him towards the back room to get changed. He paused for a moment and lingered his hands on the teen's shoulders, sniffing the top of his raven hair. "I thought I told you to change the brand of suppressants you use..."

"They're cheap," was all Chenle answered with and slithered away to the changing rooms. His t-shirt was shouldered off to allow him to wear the crisp white shirt and slip the black trousers on, tucking the shirt in. A cute little dicky bow wrapped underneath the collar of his shirt and peeked out at the front.

"Jung is finished his shift now," the man called and popped around the corner, giving Chenle a hasty 'hurry up'.

"Right, I'm on my way." He smoothed his hair down in the mirror and headed out into the bar, where tables upon tables of people discussed business matters, met up with friends, went on drinking sprees and the alike. There was a densely alpha-like smell in the air but his suppressants made it more manageable.

"Get me a cider," a man purred with his arm wrapped around an omega-scented woman.

Chenle poured the drink and slid it over to him, collecting the money. A thin layer of sweat formed over his brow from the humidity in the lounge and the frequent but fleeting smell of vomit hung around like a stigma. He'd been on duty for almost an hour now and his feet already began to ache from constantly being on his toes.

The darkness of the setting was rather relieving because it hid many of the faces around him. There was one face, though, that he was always able to define whenever he walked in. The boy waltzed up to the bar with a cute grin and slid onto the stool right in front of Chenle. "Tough going?"

"Hyuck, I thought you'd never show."

Donghyuck lay his chin in his palm and gave a relieved smile. "I'll have the usual."

They didn't hang out after school often since Chenle had other ruffian friends who liked to get up to mischief and the tanned boy also liked to focus on his schoolwork. That being said, once in a while, Donghyuck would roll up to where his best friend was working so that they were able to have some extracurricular social lives. He passed a Diet Coke to him took a moment to breathe. "It's too warm."

"Le, I didn't see you at lunch today."

He agreed with him on that much. "I know, I was looking for you and Mark but I couldn't find you anywhere. I thought you told me you'd be outside on the benches. So I ended up camping out in the library, and it absolutely reeks of knowledge in there."

"I assumed you would actually look around to find us rather than just glancing. We were sitting on a bench for the most part but I could feel myself burning in the sun and Mark suggested going inside."
