"I did go down to see you, but you were all asleep," Jisung defended. "And you were cuddling Jeno and Jaemin."

"Yeah, because I was dreaming that they were two giant fluffy dogs. I promise I wasn't cheating on you."

Jisung shoved a spoonful of soup into his mouth and looked away. It was feigned, obviously. That being said, when he went into their unlocked room, he had no other choice but to take a sneaky photo on his phone. It was a really cute sight.

Their curfew was half past ten and it was currently quarter past seven — dinner time. And while the others were deep in conversation about something completely different, Chenle and Jisung were left to their own chats.

"Did you see the itinerary?" The alpha asked, placing his spoon down in the empty bowl with a soft clink. "We'll go to the adventure park tomorrow at seven in the morning, then we'll come back here at five in the evening."

"Hmm. More time for me to crush you."

"A true winner like me doesn't need extra time to crush you."

"I'm telling you, I love heights," Chenle almost gulped, "I can skywalk much higher than you can." As previously mentioned, he had much discomfort towards heights. Even fixing a lightbulb on a chair was scary for him.

Jisung waved his hand dismissively. "May the best man win." He, too, didn't have great memories of heights.

"'No alphas allowed in the non-alphas' rooms and vice versa'. Son of a gun," Chenle grumbled as he observed the sign that the secretary woman had crafted and put in the hallway, custom made only for this group of students and probably requested by the teachers accompanying them. He was sure there must've been the exact same sign upstairs along the alphas' corridor.

"What, were you planning on inviting us in?" Jaemin asked jokingly, him and the three other alphas lingering at the end of the hall to take the next flight of stairs up to their rooms.

"We can come down anyway," Jeno added. "No one has to know."

"You just made it sound illegal," Jisung commented and gently smacked the back of Jeno's head.

They bid farewell and disappeared to the next floor, while Chenle, Renjun and Donghyuck made their way to their own room. It was still relatively early, around eight o'clock, and they were buzzing with energy. They were so awake because they had slept the late afternoon away.

"I don't want to stay in our room," Chenle announced.

Donghyuck dove onto Renjun's bed and rolled onto his back, interlacing his hands over his tummy. "Well, we could go outside and explore a bit, but my phone died on the bus so I won't be able to keep track of the time."
