"Knock knock," Mark's voice chimed solemnly and he peeped around the corner of the infirmary entrance. "How's it going?"Jisung exhaled and stood up off the edge of the bed. "He's asleep under sedation."
"So I'm guessing it's not good? How bad is it?"
"The nurse said he's hurting a lot but he isn't in danger."
The older boy finally stepped into the room. The spray was in the air and it was working much better now that Chenle was asleep, since no extra nervous pheromones were being pumped out. He sat down on the seat that Jisung had been using a moment ago and so the younger stayed standing, watching over the omega.
"The principal and the nurse came into the bathroom while I was keeping those assholes put. I'd say they'll be expelled like the last time this happened."
"If they aren't then I'll be suing."
Mark nodded and pulled out his phone, checking the unread message from Donghyuck. He asked him to call ASAP to tell him what had happened. "I'll just step outside. The others are worried."
"Go ahead."
Mark understood that Jisung was being straight-forward and concise because he was nervous. Of course that meant that he probably needed to think about things, and so the phone call was like a sign. "I'll be back in a moment."
The younger alpha eavesdropped on Mark's conversation; it sounded like the others were going to come back now. The nurse also made her appearance, brisk walking with an aggravated step. "The principal is making the expulsion of those boys effective as of tomorrow. They won't be coming back."
Jisung's relief was apparent, and she readied a canister of painkillers.
"To get the entire story before making any big decisions, you and the young man outside will need to account what happened." Her hand dropped the tube into his. "And these are for Chenle. Your friend explained the basis of what he thinks went down in the first floor toilets, but we'll need camera footage. All the staff and students who were staying back after school today have been sent home to keep this under the radar."
She shoved her hands in the pocket of her white coat that Jisung often questioned the point of doctor's wearing. She was watching over Chenle. He had never been given cause to come to the infirmary before, so Jisung had never met this lady in his life, not even in the hallway if she was on her break.
Mark made his presence known by a loud sigh by the door. "The others are on their way. I think Donghyuck's mum is coming to take Chenle home with them." His head leaned against the doorframe. "They have experience looking after omegas in heat since Donghyuck is also..."
Jisung wanted to smile, glad that someone was able to look after him, but couldn't muster it. Mark also didn't seem too fazed by finding out (through an unfortunate event) that the focus of his love was an omega. Jisung supposed it just wasn't something that the older alpha cared too much about. He remembered their chat on the way to the bar, when he said that he didn't mind what Donghyuck was since it was his entire personality that he loved. Perhaps it was also because Chenle was Mark's closest friend and he was too worried to truly process the new information about the two omegas.
