Jisung wasn't woken up by the warbling of the morning birds, but by the giddy shriek of a rogue Chenle as he leapt onto the bed, just barely missing Jisung's body. The mattress bounced and dipped where the new figure was sitting.

"Rise and shine, sweetikins."

The alpha let out a groan and rolled over, face tucked under the sheets. "It's still early."

"Yes, well, the early bird catches the worm."

"Catch my fist," Jisung complained and lazily threw his hand out to bat Chenle away. This was too much noise at six in the morning. They were off school for the day, too. It was supposed to be a well-deserved lie-in.

Chenle did catch his hand and pretended to karate chop it into the air. "Self defence comes in handy at times like this."

"Please just go back to bed for another hour." He pulled the sheets over his head, disappearing under like a snail into its shell.

Chenle crawled over to him and pawed at the edge of the duvet that went over the top of Jisung's head. He didn't seriously try to pull it back but he wanted to be annoying enough that the snail would emerge all on its own. "You don't need sleep; you're beautiful enough."

"..."

"Am I not the most annoying thing in the world?"

"For sure."

He straddled the lump and lay down on top of it. In a moment, Jisung was too airless to stay under and had to push Chenle off, breaking the surface for air. "There you are. I thought you'd be fossilised in the blankets for a hot minute there. Didn't seem like you'd come out for millennia."

Jisung made a strained face and flipped their position, just like they would in self defence class. Chenle couldn't blame him since he'd been the provider of the idea. "What has you up at six?"

"Oh, had to pee. But fear not, I'm an empty tank now."

Jisung sat back on his heels and let Chenle straighten himself up. But instead of doing just that, the omega flipped them back so that Jisung was lying down.

"This can't end in a stalemate," Chenle warned, as though they were now at competition, but Jisung didn't remember treating this like a competition. "I won last time during P.E but I know you went easy on me."

He's baiting me, Jisung internally sighed. Chenle obviously wanted company and thought that a dominance battle would get Jisung involved. Except he seemed to have forgotten that this alpha wasn't easily baited. "Sit on me all you want. I'm not moving."
