Meredith, Derek, Addison, and mark were all paged to the residents locker room at the same time.
They all arrived and waited till Bailey spoke. "Okay. This is something I do every year." She said, holding up a bedazzled pager.
"This is the sparkle pager. To earn this, you must have the most amount of points. To earn points, you have to find yourselves good surgeries and diagnoses. Certain procedures and diagnoses are a certain number of points. You have one month to compete with your other peers. This sparkle pager here will grant you the opportunity to take any other surgery that your peers get. Sloan has an appy? Nope. Whoever gets the pager can take that surgery. We clear?" Bailey explained.
They all nodded. "Good. Time starts now." Bailey said. Everyone ran off, except for Meredith. "Wait! I'm 31 weeks pregnant. That's not fair!" She exclaimed.
"Hey, I'm not the one who got you pregnant. Take it up with the husband." Bailey responded with a smirk as she ran off.
Meredith huffed and waddled off as fast as she could to go scrounge for good surgery's.

Meredith plopped herself down in a chair about halfway through the day. Her feet and her back were killing her. There was no way she would win this contest. Knowing her luck she'd probably go into preterm labor during it.
Derek came up to her with a smile. "Why did you have to get me pregnant during this?" She grumbled. Derek chuckled. "I'm so very sorry." He replied with a laugh.
"If you win, don't take my surgery's. It's a fair deal. I grow our baby and keep him safe, you don't steal my surgeries." Meredith tried.
"Fine. But you could still win, you know?" Derek asked. "My feet and my back hurt and to win, I'd have to be on the move all day. I am not in the mood for that." Meredith said sternly.
"Okay. I gotta go. Look for surgery's and all." He said. "I hate you!" Meredith exclaimed. "You love me." Derek countered, walking away.

Meredith found herself in the ER a little while later, waiting for sometning good to come in.
But instead she got her deadbeat father. So much for a good case. Thatcher stumbled in, obviously, drunk and onto a gurney.
"M-Meredith." Thatcher slurred. "Thatcher." Meredith responded as Bailey came alongside her. "What do we got Grey?" She asked. "Small laceration on the arm due to being drunk." Meredith replied.
"Hey! I'm your...your father. Don't talk about me...like that." Thatcher slurred. "This your father?" Bailey asked with pointed eyes.
"If you could call him that." Meredith muttered.
"Want me to take him?" Bailey offered, feeling sympathetic for her resident. "No, I got him. I need some points." Meredith replied. "You-you got knocked up." Thatcher pointed out.
"You knew this." Meredith said, her temper short. "Slut." Thatcher mumbled. "What did you say?" Meredith asked, as she stop suturing.
"Grey-" Bailey intervened.
"I said you're...you're a slut." Thatcher repeated. "Okay, dad, I may be 31 weeks pregnant but I can still kick your drunk ass." Meredith said.
Thatcher spat at her and Meredith was ready to pounce. "Enough." Bailey said, dragging Meredith away. "Dumbass." Bailey murmured, talking about thatcher.
"I hate his ass. Why does he always come here?" Meredith ranted. "He calls me a slut, yet he's the one who has kids with 2 different woman. I'm Pregnant with my husband. It's different. It's different, isn't it bailey?" She asked.
"It is." Bailey responded, figuring she'd just let her hormonal and pregnant resident rant. She knew what it was like to be pissed off when heavily pregnant.
"He's a dick. He left me when I was a kid and made a new family and somehow he still has the audacity to call me a slut. You know, I may be a whale but I could still hit his stupid ass." Meredith said angrily.
"Grey, take my surgery. It's just a laporatomy, but surgery's always make me feel better. Plus, you'll get more points go." Bailey cut in.
"Aw, thanks Bailey. You're the best." Meredith said with a grin, hugging her quickly and walking off.

Bailey walked up to Derek. "Shepherd, quick warning, your wife is very hormonal today. Don't piss her off." Bailey said.
"What? Why?" Derek asked in concern. "Well, her father came into the ER drunk and spat on her. I made her take my surgery to calm down, but that girl has a mouth on her." She replied.
"Tell me about it. Is she okay?" Derek asked. "I think so, just really pissed off." Bailey responded. "So I'm in for a rough night?" He asked. "Oh yeah. Good luck." Bailey said with a laugh as she walked off.

Hours later, they went home together. Meredith was still in a pissy mood, despite her surgery that was supposed to make her feel better.
"I heard about thatcher. You okay?" Derek asked as he pulled into the driveway. "Derek, don't even get me started on him. He's such an asshole. And then he comes to my hosptial where I work and has the balls to call me a slut. Like what kind of person does that? He can go suck a-" Meredith ranted.
"Okayyyyy." Derek cut in, suppressing a laugh. "Anyways. He's a dick but I'm fine." She responded. "Okay. Good." He said as they entered their house.
"Shep! Where are you?" Meredith called out. The dog came scurrying over and jumped on Meredith. "Careful, buddy." Derek said, scratching the dogs ears.
"I'm gonna go sit down and never stand again, okay? We can order dinner or sometning." Meredith asked.
Derek chuckled. "Okay. I'll order our usual. You sit and relax and I'll rub your feet later." He said, kissing her forehead.
"Love you." Meredith said. "I love you too."
