"So, did you looked into the designs that I have given you yesterday?" tanong ni Engr. Tan.

"Yes, Engr.," I said. Ganoon rin ang tugon ni Dennise ngayon.

All of the engineers and other employees who will be working on the next project are sitting altogether inside the conference room. Nakaflash naman sa screen ngayon ang ppt presentation na ip-present mamaya.

Di rin nagtagal at dumating si Bryson sa loob. That's when Engr. Tan stood up and began presenting in front. Inayos ko naman ang aking pagkakaupo at nakinig nang mabuti sa sasabihin ng nasa unahan.

"I believe everyone is already here," panimula ni Engr. Tan. "Let's begin."

She cleared her throat and proceeded with the next slide of the ppt.

"We're gonna build a hotel here in Amsterdam," she said. "All of us engineers will be in-charge in this project, so I am expecting full effort and attention to every single detail that I'll have to discuss during the whole meeting."

We all nodded. Nagpatuloy naman siya sa pagsasalita.

"This project may not be as huge as other prohects, but it still needs an impact to the clients, lalo na dahil our goal here is to make the hotel one of the most attractive and most visited places here in the country."

"We will call this the RodLind Hotel," dagdag niya pa. "A luxurious hotel but doesn't cost as high as other existing hotels here. We don't have a final design for the architecture and the design of the inside of the hotel, I have shown you different samples yesterday and I need your opinions now."

She drank water first and it's our turn to speak now. Hindi muna ako nagsasalita dahil hindi pa ako ganoong kabihasa rito at pinauna na lang muna ang mga beterano sa larangan nito.

"I think the second design will be suitable for the hotel," sabi nung isang board member na naroroon. "I'm no expert in this field, but I just like the design and structure of the building."

Tumatango-tango naman ang ibang nasa loob ng conference room. Ang iba naman roon ay nagshare din ng kanilang mga opinion. Sumulyap naman ako kay Bryson na hindi pa rin nagsasalita at nakikinig lamang roon.

"How about our two newbies here?" tanong ni Engr. Tan. "Care to share your opinions?"

Nauna na si Dennise na naglahad ng kaniyang opinion doon. One of the designs there is hers, and that design captured my eye because of its quite unique structure of the building, and every area is maximized well.

Pagkatapos naman ni Dennise ay ako na ang magsasalita. I cleared my throat while looking at the designs. I stopped flipping the pages when it reached the design that I want.

"For me, I like Architect Navales' work," sabi ko. "As we can see, the different samples look almost the same and common with what we see in other hotels here, but this design and work just feels different. It's somewhat unique."

"Tell us more," si Engr. Tan.

"The structure is unique, but we can still guarantee its durability and stability at the same time," paliwanag ko. "I believe this can be a great opportunity for us to gain more people. Moreover, it will enable the people to enjoy their stay in this hotel, not just because of the costing of each room, but they can feel the luxury and leisure since they are able to do whatever they want."

Tumatango-tango naman sila. Hindi na muna ako bumaling kay Bryson dahil baka madistract lang ako at mawala sa focus ng sasabihin ko.

"Besides, we can do a lot of activities here," sabi ko pa. "Maraming areas alloted not just for swimming and bar, but there are also possible activities that the people can do inside this hotel. And that makes our project unique and much different from others, na talagang dudumugin at pipiliin ng mga clients natin."
