A strong set of arms found their way around Agatha and pulled her in for a hug.
"Where the HELL have you been?" The voice billows out at her. As the set of arms drags her into the cottage.
Ryder taking a step out of the way and ushering a wide eyed and very much silently stunned Cassandra in through the door. As he enters he closes the door behind him, finding an instant warmth wrapping around him like a welcomed blanket.
After entering, Ryder puts an arm around a very stiffened Cassandra, standing there staring at the owner of the arms still wrapped around a now smiling Agatha. "You ok Cass?" He whispers into her ear. Her head turns to him but her eyes are still glued to the arms owner. Then she nods. Ryder chuckles.
His chuckle caught the attention of the two old friends, who were engrossed in the beginnings of a catch up chat.
Agatha clears her throat and extends her one arm and hand out in greeting.
"I would like you to meet some family." Agatha says to her old friend.
"Family huh? One smells like a wet dog and the other...." The voice trails off into a wordless silence.
The person rounds Agatha and comes to stand in front of Cassandra. She stiffens even mote and holds in an unnecessary breath.
"Breath taking." The voice says in a raspy tone. Raising a hand and softly caresses her cheek.
"What is your name, my beautiful?" The voice asks softer and closer to her face.
"Cass, Cassandra." She stutters.
Ryder looks over to Agatha, stunned, who is just as flabbagasted as he is.
"It's an absolute pleasure to meet you." The voice moves closer to her ear. "Cassandra." It whispered her name. Her face and neck, immediately flushing a bright red. The ocean, blue eyes belonging to the voice, stares into hers, both of them getting lost, making them forget where they were and what they were doing.
"UhUmmmm." Agatha clears her throat again but to no avail.
"Phoenix!" Agatha tries again, this time catching his attention.
"Ah, yes. Sorry." Phoenix says slightly bashful at being consumed by the woman he was now towering in front of.
The tall, strong and sturdy frame of the man, pulled away ever so slightly from Cassandra, as he turned his attention to his long lost friend, letting his long, bright orange curls fall onto Cassandra's shoulder as he turns.
"This is Ryder Blake." Agatha motions torawrds Ryder.
"Of coarse. The Lycan King." He says extending his arm out to shake hands with Ryder.
Ryder does the same and shakes the large man's hand.
"Everyone, this is Phoenix. An old friend and brother witch." Agatha introduces him to the other two.
Phoenix, now being introduced to everyone, with an arm still securely wrapped around a dazed Cassandra, he invites them deeper into his home.
Agatha, keeping an eye on where Phoenix was placing his hands. Raising an eyebrow at Ryder.
" Mates. Seems as though witches and vampires have more in common with us shifters than what we thought, huh? " Ryder says teasing Agatha with an elbow nudge to her arm as they follow the newly wrapped up couple.
Phoenix leads the group into his sitting room, warmed by a lit fire in a heavy stone fireplace. It's mantle filled with statues and ornaments of all types. The wall framing the fire place cluttered with well placed photos and pictures, making it look like a personal family room, filled with loving memories.
