Faye sits down at the table, the whole week Calvin hadn't showed up since the night they talked, trying her best not to think it was her fault, thinking if she would've kissed him he would showed up. It was his brother filling in for him, who totally looked different from him. The girls greet her with smiles and basic chit chat, Faye smiling back happy to even have a group of friends to talk with. "We'll be back." Vivian says as the three of them get up leaving August behind. "We have a surprise, for you." She grins as they all giggled before practically run out of the restaurant.
Faye looked at August with a shy grin, her cheeks pink. "So, did you know about it?"
"Yes, we all pitched in and I dunno if you look much like a fashion diva." She responds back with a smile. "The girls seem to like you, we don't normally let other people in since we've known one another for years. It's nice to have a fresh young face."
"Yeah." Faye responds awkwardly. "You guys seem really close."
"Eh, we're all we have." August sighs. "They've been there through my darkest nights...it's hard to not consider them family. " She looks at Faye who looks outside. "What about you? You never mention anything back in LA."
Faye mets her gaze, "LA isn't exactly something I like talking about. Just drama and more drama you know? You get too wrapped up in your head thinking your on top of the world and the next moment you're in hell."
"You sound like me when I use to do coke." August says as they both laughed, placing her hand on Faye's wrist. Faye looks at her soft hand tensing up, "Faye, relax it's all innocent."
"No, I know." Faye nervously chuckles. "Just-"
"Never had a women hit on you?"
"No..." Faye says softly. "Just don't know how to feel."
"Why don't you and all of us go out tonight?" August suggest, Faye shakes her head. "Why? We're fun to have."
"Maybe." Faye says before loud laughs come from behind them bringing in multiple expensive bags, the girls running towards her like hungry wolves. "Oh."
"Did she say yes?" Ash says as August shakes her head. "What? Why not, Faye?"
"Just not into the party scene."
"Bulllshit!" Rose exclaims. "Your a young pretty girl, you gotta know how to dance. If you don't come we're gonna drag your ass to the club."
"Okay, okay." Faye smiles as the girls yell in happiness.
~
Faye sighs taking another sip of her martini bored of the club only an hour in, regretting she even came under peer pressure. She had a skin tight gray sparkling dress with her heels matching, her hair done in a messy bun along with a black purse around her arm. She rolls her eyes seeing the girls dancing all over the place, drunk while Faye sat back with boredom dodging any man or women coming her way, finally walking away from the scene heading towards the exit.
She squeezes her way through the grinding bodies intertwined, until she finally leaves the cold air of Manhattan wrapped around her body as she reaches into her purse for her car keys walking away dreading the four long blocks she'd have to walk. Aside from the club's muffled music, it was quiet with no one in sight, just Faye walking with her heels clicking taking in the peace she loved living in New York...her mind seeming much more at ease since the move...forgetting she even had a life in LA. The toxicity ruining her way of thinking; sucked into the make believe world but...she couldn't pretend London wasn't apart of her life; especially with Juniper...her only true friend...
"R-Rose?" A soft voice speaks from behind Faye making her stop walking, knowing no one even calls her by that name. "Is...Is it really you?" Faye swallows hard looking ahead to bolt her mind going to getting mugged or into a fight but by how soft and desperate the voice was she turned around slowly trying to hide any fear, seeing a women who stood two inches shorter...her exact twin...The women had every aspect of Faye expect she had Haley's eyes, bleached blonde hair that had black roots showing; but she seemed and looked much nicer than Faye looked, her big eyes filled with tears making Faye furrow her brows. "Faye, you have to know who I am." Faye stood with silence with a million questions coming in her head as to why her exact twin was standing in front calling her 'Rose'. "I'm Pandora, You use to call me Panda!"
Faye takes a step back, clutching her fist anxiety increasing by the second the name sounding familiar as if it unlocks some soft of trauma but Faye couldn't put her finger on it. "You have me mistaken, lady." The women reaches in her purse pulling out a polaroid of her and Faye young wearing oversized jerseys and a snapback hat backwards, Pandora holding up the peace sign as Faye seemed to be laughing...realizing the team they were wearing was her fathers favorite. Faye looks back up, the memory not seeming to come back at her, "Thats not me." She turns around.
"Harry tried to do it to me, Rose." Pandora exclaims making Faye stop once more her eyes wide. "I told our aunt and he threw me to her in Vermont, and stopped all contact with me." Faye's eyes began to dart back and forth her mind repeating her fathers name, "Rose, I'm your sister." She says as Faye's body tensed up. "Mom came to visit me until I was fourteen, thats why she toke so many trips out of town...Harry tried-"
"I don't have a sister." Faye says trying her best to keep calm. "I'm an only child."
"I hate that Jake never told you this, Rose." The women's voice cracking as if she was reliving pain. "I've been in therapy since I was thirteen and...I can't believe after four years of trying to find you...here we are." Pandora sets a soft hand on Fayes shoulder.
Faye grew anger by the random encounter, wondering who this women was if she was some sort of joke her father sent; the bad intentions Faye already could see her having; memories of LA she tried to hide throwing back In her face, the feeling of rage growing by the second but Faye toke Pandora's hand off gently, reaching in her purse pulling out her phone. She dialed Jake's number without thinking properly, she pressed it to her ear turning to face Pandora her looks shocking Faye at how ridiculously similar they looked. "Yo." Jake's voice said happily.
"Pandora." Faye says leaving Jake choked up in his throat his eyes wide with fear. "She's standing in front of me..."
"F-F-"
Knowing his voice and stammering sounded like that meant he got caught in the act, she grips the phone. "You son of a bitches kept this away from me?!" She yells turning around with rage. "How could you all keep this away?"
"Harry almost lost everything when Pandora told the teachers and everyone at school what happened, Faye...he sent her away with our aunt in Virginia -I think- and we cut all ties off." He explains quickly still in shock. "Faye...she was never meant to be seen again."Faye looks at the concert with wide eyes. "I thought you still remembered her since you two are literal twins and did everything together? Faye...Pandora isn't apart of our lives anymore...you can't let her back in."
Faye's eyes continuing to dart back and forth, "You still keep these secrets when you promised change, Jake." She says as Jake bites his lips with teary eyes. "This isn't real, this is Harry fucking with me...you wouldn't hurt me like this." Tears streaming down her face along with Pandora her heart aching listening to the disappointment Pandora had in hers all those years back. "I...I didn't even know we had family..."
"Faye, you went all these years without her, forget she even exist; you never needed her and you don't need her now. Wherever you are, I'm sure you can just walk away and never look back, you hear me? I'm your big brother, I know whats best for you." He tries to convince her but she stood staring at Pandora tears streaming down their faces. "Faye, you let her back in you life...your going to know everything..." He grips his phone as Faye finally got what she needed to hear at his last sentence. "Your going to hate me all over again and I can't risk it...you can't know."
"Fuck you!" She screams into the phone before hanging up as she begins to cry, Pandora reaching her arms out to hug her but Faye shook her head feeling betrayed once more. "Your not here to be my sister! You're hear to hurt me like they all have!" She yells taking steps back her breaths quick and rapid "I finally had peace and you come fucking it all up." Everything begins to swirl around her seeing double vision knowing it was another episode, she looks around startled and lost stumbling with each step she toke before she trips over a piece of concrete, falling rapidly hitting her head onto the floor hard.
