Six peaceful months went by slowly, Faye mostly staying her new apartment in Manhattan her mind seeming so clear since she first arrived, letting go of LA and all its misery that surrounded her, realizing and taking in that her past happened knowing it didn't define who she was unless it let her; the chains she held onto breaking with William feeling so embarrassed to even think she wanted that life as if it was some Prince Charming fairytale. She was feeding herself lies to hide the truth that maybe it was best to stay alone.

Faye enters her usual coffee shop, the smell of pastries entering her nose, the cold breeze coming in as she always came in from after her normal morning jog, dressed in shorts and a sports bra always having her hair in a tight ponytail. She gets up at the counter, "The usual." She says softly as the man gives a nod as she steps to the side feeling the normal staring eyes of a group of women at a table. Faye glances at them, noticing they had to be at least ten years older but extremely pretty, it had always been like this since she first stepped in her mind trying to fight that they were being mean girls. The man gives her the hot food as she gives him a twenty with a small smile, she looks at the women the smile fading suddenly getting flushed knowing she had to go near them to put her favorite coco syrup in her drink.

She hesitated but dragged her feet breaking the eye contact, as she heard small whispers. Faye swallows hard pouring in the coco, "Would you like to sit with us?" A voice making her eyes look up at a pretty blonde women with big green eyes with a big smile as the other women seemed to follow along. The women stands up, her tall figure making Faye oddly admire her, she held out her hand that had jewelry on each finger and a fresh manicure, "I'm Ash."

Faye looks at Ash and all the other women trying to detect a threat but they all were with a greeting smile, Faye reaches out her hand shaking it, "I'm Faye." Ash points to a empty chair as Faye slowly sat in it nervous by the socialization.

"We probably look like mean girls." A women spoke as Ash sits down, her vibrant black curls forward. "No wonder why you always looked sad." The women laughs by her last sentence, "Sorry I talk a lot, I'm Rose." Faye raises her eyes making Rose raise hers.

"Sorry, my name is Rose but I go by Faye."

"Really?" Another blonde speaks her brown eyes with interest, freckles on her face scrunching up her nose with a big smile flashing dimples her straight. "I'm Vivian."

"And I'm August." A brunette speaks her outfit catching Faye's eyes in a black jumpsuit her toned body showing.

"We literally have been so nervous to speak to you, we just hope our staring would make you come talk to us." Vivian says. "Your absolutely gorgeous, doll."

Faye blushes giving a small smile, "You've all been wanting to talk with me?" Faye's cheeks grow more red. "T-Thats so nice, I just thought you all didn't like me."

They all exclaim disagreeing, beside August who just sat there with a grin reading Faye, who looked back with a smile trying her best to show she was intimidated by August...but deep inside her eyes grew a fire. August yellow eyes on Faye's, as the other females began to gossip, Faye falling in a deep trance her nerves calming.

"Dear, how come you didn't tell us your mother was Haley White?" Ash says snapping Faye out of her thoughts, August taking a sip of her latte as Vivian notices the two but plays it off. "We all adored her, it's such a shame I'll tell ya."

"Yeah, it is." Faye says softly Rose slaps Ash's breast hard.

"You can't just bring up a dead relative like it's a normal thing to say!" Rose says as Ash's mouth falls open.

"You bitch, I'll have you pay for all our meals."

"Still doesn't affect my bank account." Rose smirks as Ash rolls her eyes. Rose looks at Faye who glances at August than at her food. "Oh honey, eat we don't mean to starve you!"
