London sat beside Faye who was still unconscious, she laid there still with only the sound of the heart monitors beeping breaking the silence that filled the room. It was a crazy night between Faye's mom killing herself and now Faye getting shot in cold blood, remembering the events before all London saw was a hooded tall man run away from Faye. Faye seemed like she was ready to die any minute in that bed and London couldn't take it; the girl she loved that finally confessed her feelings was going to die the same night she said I love you.
How more fucked up could this night get?
London presses her knees to her chest hugging them continuously staring at Faye noticing how purple her lips were seeing as if she was already dead. Her heart beat still slow, how did this even happen? She didn't deserve any of this. Raven and Emma came through the room, "Mom!" London cried out as she felt her moms arms wrap around her body hugging tightly comforting her child that began to softly cry "Shes going to die mom."
"No she won't baby." Raven spoke eyeing Faye's body that looked as if she had already passed on. Faye never talked to Raven since that day in her house but that didn't matter anymore; she was on the verge of death and her daughter would have to go through another death and Raven knew London wouldn't handle it easier then her father. She was afraid that her daughter would sink into a deep depression and never pull herself out if Faye died. "She's a strong girl London she'll pull through. Right now her body is recovering and it's not going to look pretty for a while but trust me London she's going to pull through and be here with you." London began to shake in her arms softly crying as Emma stroked her hair softly feeling bad for London "Don't cry baby she's going to make it through don't worry."
"London she's a fighter and you of all people should know that." Emma said "Don't give up now please, I don't want you hurting."
London sniffed staring at Faye lay there, her chest tightened. This pain seemed unbearable then it was with her father, she couldn't go through it again. London's heart belonged to Faye and if she died London would be missing apart of herself. She needed Faye. Although Faye had been mean and cold towards London when it came to confessing her feelings in the end London was satisfied that she was right about Faye; she did fall for her. But why lose her in the same night she confessed her love?
Faye's heart monitor started to beep rapidly making Ravens eyebrows furrow not liking at how it sounded . The beeping came one after another "Emma...go get the nurse." Raven said making London sit up touching Faye's cold hand having no reaction at all. The beeping suddenly slowed down then went back up again before it slowed down once more before the sound of the flatline rang through her ears.
"Nurse!" Raven yelled going to the hallway before the intercom spoke.
"Code Blue in room 304." It spoke "I repeat Code Blue in 304."
"Faye!" London said loudly shaking her the sound of the flatline giving her goosebumps seeing no response. Doctors and nurses came into the room with Raven grabbing London away from the bed "Mom, What's going on?"
"Don't look London." Raven spoke taking her out the room as the door was slammed shut behind them.
"Mom!" London yelled going to the door seeing a defibrillator in a doctors hand with the over lapping yelling among them. The doctor pressed it against Faye's bare chest seeing it jolt up in the air the sound of the flatline still ringing in London's ear. She looked away Raven holding her daughter close hearing her cries. She kept looking at the doctors shocking Faye's heart in horror before she had to look away for herself remembering in the ambulance that's what they did to her husband.

London sat beside Faye her eyes darting at the heart monitor hoping her heart didn't give out again. She held her cold hand tightly hoping for a movement showing she was stable. "Faye I'm here for you." London spoke softly "I'm not leaving you Faye. I refuse to I'll stand by you all night and morning if I have to Faye. I made a promise to you that I'll stay and I meant that." London bit her bottom lip wondering if Faye could even hear her but she didn't care talking to Faye made London feel somehow comforted that she could have a normal conversation as if she wasn't in the hospital "I love you Faye and I promise you that I won't leave you until I know you can open your eyes and speak to me.""I...I didn't think you were this in love with her." Raven said as she put a hand through Emmas hair who fell asleep in her arms "I always thought you would fall for that Alexia girl. I never expected you to fall for the bad girl in school."
"She's changing mom." London said "I was helping her change and she was and then..." her voice trailed off fighting tears that burned her eyes "It hurts a lot mom. She's going to die and I'll be hurt all over again like dad."
"She's a fighter London, it may not seem like that way now since her heart just gave out but trust me she will pull through." Raven said as Emma flashed open her eyes looking at her mother who was still combing her hair with her fingertips "Hey sleepy head."
"I'm-I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Emma spoke rubbing her eyes getting up walking out leaving Raven and London alone.
"She will wake up and this will all be over." Raven said "You two can be together and be a happy couple. Don't doubt her London; I'm sure she's had enough people doubting her in her life so don't be another one." Raven stood up "Im gonna get us a few snacks I'll be right back."
London looked down at the floor taking her hand away hugging her knees. She's right London, she has no family and you're the only thing she has left; literally and your doubting her. You can't just do that, she needs you the most at this time in her time and your doubting that she could live. If she could survive years of abuse , getting arrested, fighting then she could survive this. She was a legit Superman.
While London's eyes weren't on her little did she know Faye's hand. London stood staring at the floor hating herself the more she thought wishing she could have Faye back. The heart monitor began to beep a little faster than it was Faye's eyes opening with a loud gasp.
