Faye sat in the nail salon waiting patiently for London who was still gossiping with a co worker talking about fashion shows and other celebrities that walked in the salon that they had met. Faye didn't understand why girls gossiped about celebrities and couldn't hurry the fuck up forgetting their friend was waiting for them sitting quietly annoyed.

"I know one time I saw Madonna and holy shit girrrlll we were booming for months." The co worker spoke "That was the last time my paycheck was good."

"I know! I just love L.A I'm not originally from here but I'm getting use to see them walk around like normal people just with cameras on their every move." London said "But the area is so quiet and nice I love it here."

"I know I came from a small town in New York and moving here really changed my life." The co worker continued "Its honestly the best thing I've done and I'm only 32."

Faye toke a deep breath leaning in her chair folding her arms staring at the two like dumb asses. I can't believe all they could talk about were celebrities and stand here all day. Did London forget I exist? What the fuck was going on anymore?

"But as much as I love to talk about these celebrities you do need to pay for your nails." The co worker said pressing buttons on the cashier.

"Faye." London looked at Faye who rolled her eyes standing up getting out her credit card. London made Faye promise she would pay for her no matter how much the cost was, but Faye didn't care anyway she had thousands of dollars in her name so spending a couple of dollars didn't faze her.

"Total is 56."

Faye hands the card to the co worker who took it swiping it. Faye entered the pin as the co worker gave the card back getting approved. "Hey aren't you Harold White and Haley Whites daughter?"

"Yes."

"Oh my god your mother is so-"

"Is that all?" Faye said her face bored hearing the same thing over and over. She could care about people drooling over her drug addicted parents , the press knew them for there good looks and jobs not the drug dealing part.

"Yes." She answered quietly.

"Let's go London." Faye said walking away as London's face went red at Faye's rude actions.

"Sorry." London apologized.

"I get it; girlfriend problems right?"

"What did you say?" Faye said glaring at her with annoyance.

"You two are together right?"

"No."

"Yes." London shot Faye a smirk before she looked at the co worker with a smile "Yes she's my girlfriend. I just think she woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." London said "But thank you for the pep talk." She smiled kindly before walking out with Faye on her side.

"London I don't want you to ever say that again."

"What why?"

"I don't want to pretend something we're not."

London looked at Faye who was clearly pissed; yes there was no lying that London ended up catching feelings for Faye. She tried to think of every flaw Faye had but it only made her fall in love again. Faye on the other hand wasn't making hints or attempting to flirt unlike London who was practically throwing herself at Faye. A part of her felt like she would be another fuck buddy for Faye or ended up getting hurt by Faye but London didn't want a fuck buddy; she wanted a girl friend. "We don't have to pretend."

"That gross." Faye said "Why would I date you? You're a really good friend and I don't-"

"Do relationships." London finishes for her the hopes she had brought down again. London was persistent for making Faye fall in love with her, she felt like posting those Tiktoks that went "Day one until she falls in love with me." But London would never do that. "It was just a joke okay?" London lied "Don't be mad." She pouted pushing out her bottom lip as Faye rolled her eyes at her wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

"You're something else London." Faye sighed softly as she felt London rest her head on her chest.Everything with Faye made London's world go around in sync perfectly, if she wasn't with Faye then London would be cooped up in her room looking at new makeup trends trying them on watching YouTube. "But I'm starving so let's go eat."

"Okay." London responded her mind wondering if Faye would ever let herself fall in love; not with London but maybe open up to another girl or boy and fall back into the old Faye. But after all the shit she's been through London didn't think it was possible. All London wanted to do was drown Faye in attention and love giving her non stop kisses and sleep next to her but Faye hasn't show any of her affection. When London jokes about them being a couple Faye either cringes or says 'i rather kill myself' or she laughs and brushes it off as a joke but all London wanted to do was slap her and force her to flirt back.

They past a restaurant seeing a couple share a milkshake holding hands "Ew." Faye spoke.

"What's so 'ew' their in love."

"Love is gross London, all you do is share your feelings with someone until your feelings fade away and now your lonely and heartbroken." Faye said "Love is a mind trick to get attached to people and make you do all this crazy shit until they don't want you anymore."

"I believe in love." London said "My only relationship was with a boy I used for an experiment but I believe there is love for everyone on Earth you just have to wait until they find you."

"You're stupid London." Faye's voice annoyed making London get loose from her grip getting offended "Blonde really does suit you because...what fucking idiot puts their heart out on the line for someone who's going to break it."

"Then i guess I'm an idiot for thinking you-" She caught herself from spilling the truth. Faye furrowed her brows seeing London stuck on the sentence "I mean...don't call me stupid for believing in something you gave up. There's probably someone who wants you and your to blind to see it."
