Faye stuffed her book in her locker her mind totally blank; her body calm and relaxed with all the craziness that's been going on home. For the past few weeks her parents have argued back and forth about her fathers trip down to Mexico considering Haley wanted to go but Harry said that she needed to be here in case of any questions or if anything happened at home. He left today and she cried for hours and hours but eventually stopped when she took her daily crystal meth.
Faye closed the locker before she noticed someone walking down the empty hallway. She turned her head to see London there dressed in a white crop top with white spandex and her white flats. Faye noticed how serious her face was, a sudden wave of guilt came over remembering her venerability that Faye abused, she definitely felt something there.
London looked back at Faye with anger as she walked past her heading to the bathroom.
Faye looked down wondering if she should even apologize about it.
Don't go.
Go.
Don't go.
Go Faye!
Don't. Go.
Faye just swallowed your fucking pride and apologize already for fucks sake! It won't kill you!
Faye don't go. Your fear is what makes you you and when you show people the good side they'll fuck you over just like Cole.
FAYE FUCKING GO AND APOLOGIZE! The voice roared in her head making her jump. She looked at the bathroom door close. What could a small "I'm sorry" do? Who would know? Faye couldn't imagine the embarrassment London had right now and it started to make her chest tighten. She never ever apologize to someone for telling them how she felt but London couldn't kill a fly without feeling about it, who knows...maybe she'd cry about it.
Faye looked around to make sure no one was in the hallway to see her follow London in. She opened the door hearing soft sobs that had stopped, I can't believe you Faye. You broke this poor girl. She bit down on her lip hard as the bathroom door closed behind her. The toilet flushed with London stepping out the stall noticing Faye. "I'll-I'll leave."She said softly making her way towards the door but Faye stood in the way. London swallowed hard looking up at her.
Faye lifted up her hand to run it through her hair as London tried to fight her waterworks. Faye's eyes went wide seeing at how she was covering her face. "London." She said making Londons hands go down to her side. She examined her baby blue eyes, so much hurt in them, it made Faye feel like utter shit...its what Faye deserves for shunning her.
"What?"
"I...I'm..." Faye sighed softly the words not coming out of her mouth looking like a fool. She's never apologized to someone she barely knew, but the way London looked and the fact that Faye was somehow thinking she was doing London a favor when in reality it was an excuse to cover the fact that she was a play girl.
"I hate you." London spat "You...You made me feel like this and you think saying sorry is going to help me?" She scoffs trying to walk away but Faye stood in the way again. They both didn't know what Faye was doing or going to do which made them both nervous.
"I know London. Your those pretty girls that when they get a cut they think their ugly and the whole world crashes-"
"I am not!" London said offended "I'll have you know Faye that I have never thought I am pretty in my dam life. You have no idea what I think of myself and im not gonna stand in a bathroom to tell you about my problems. I'll stay out of your way okay? Just let me leave."
"See that's the thing London." Faye said "I don't think I can..."
"What do you mean?"
"London." Faye began "I never ever feel sympathy for anyone but for you I feel horrible and I have these voices in my head that scream at me when I do something wrong. So...since I'm in a nice mood I will prove to you that I'm not a monster." She explains calmly not aware of what was coming out of her mouth "I don't want you to hate me no matter how fucking bad I think it'll be funny to laugh at you get mad from seeing me...but I know you didn't deserve it so...here's my apology I guess...?"
London knew that Faye was just talking just to talk, London knew Faye wasn't aware of what she was speaking. Her blue eyes toke up Fayes serious look at her, she's so stupid. London wouldn't forgive Faye as long as she kept making her feel small but she could attempt towards the step to forgiveness. London could see a side of Faye she never seen before and wondered where this nice Faye had came into play thinking if she won't take up this opportunity this nice side of Faye would be gone forever and now London would have an actual reason to feel dumb. Despite the circumstances she wanted to see how far Faye would go to prove herself and Faye was right of one thing; she didn't deserve it. Any of it. But she wanted to see Faye make a fool out of herself.
"Take me out to lunch." She spoke.
"Fine." Faye nodded ready to turn around before she actually thought of what London had said. "Wait did I hear you correctly?" She furrowed her brows "Take you out...where? Why? Why couldn't you scream and leave ? Why...why to lunch?"
"That way we could be seen in public." London smiled. "Meet me after school in the parking lot at 5 on the dot."
