Chapter 39

I have really thought about things these past few days. From the smallest to the most significant things in life. And I realized that time and chances, it is not everyone could have. And the time that we have in this existence, it is not indeed a promise to each everyone of us.

Na hindi sa lahat ng araw, may oras at pagkakataon tayo sa lahat ng bagay. Kagaya nang magsabi ng ating nararamdaman. And I remember reading a book saying that if you still have a time and chance to tell what you truly feel, say it. Before it's too late.

And I think, I just applied it to myself tonight. It's been days and almost a week since the last time I saw this daredevil look. And I miss him. I miss my cold and stern, Louis Austin.

Tahimik ang gabi ng Metro. Lalo pa dito sa labas ng bahay nina Draia na ang harap ay bakanteng lote lamang ng exclusive subdivision na ito. The usual cold night air blew. Tumama iyon sa aking  balikat at likod kaya medyo naramdaman ko talaga ang lamig na dulot sa aking katawan.

I am wearing an aesthetic white elegant lace mesh top dress paired with my white sneakers. I decided to wear this since I thought earlier, Draia and I would really have a dine in dinner. It looks simple yet classy to appreciate. Dress man na lagpas tuhod pero ang likod ay masyadong sexy, making me shudder in cold as I stood up here under the night with this cold man looking.

"Do you wanna go back there now or do you wanna stay here for a bit?" Austin's hoarse voice passed through my ears.

He then adjusted the way he stand infront of me. Para mas lalo akong madungaw, in-adjust niya ang tayo habang nakasandal parin ang likod sa kanyang Fortuner. Hindi ko maiwasan ang hindi mapanguso, lalo pa no'ng nahuli niya ang hindi ko mapakaling mata.

"Ikaw..." saad ko sa maliit na boses.

Austin sighed when he noticed the uneasiness that it's visible on my eyes and based on my stiff body. Para akong pinako sa harapan niya at kung hindi niya lang ako hawak, baka tuluyan na akong maging bato dito.

I don't know if his left hand crawling on my exposed back is a good thing or not. Sa marahan kasi at mahina na paraan, hinahago-hagod niya ang aking likod gamit ang palad. His palm were a bit rough compared to my soft one but it still gives me a comfort, and at the same time, it's giving me wild ideas.

Uminit ang pisngi ko sa naisip kaya mas lalo lang akong umiiwas ng tingin.

"I'm the one who is asking you, Lane," sagot niya na parang bubuka o hindi 'yong bibig.

It remained pursed in a hard way. Even though, I know this is just how always Austin is pero alam ko rin ngayon na hindi ito totoo. It's like he's just testing me, mukhang sinusubukan niya yata talaga ako!

"Well, I want to stay here for a bit..." I trailed off to ask him. "I-Ikaw? Baka gusto mong pumasok? Hinahanap ka nga ni Draia, eh," ako na medyo hindi na naman magkaundagaga.

He pushed the small on my back more, making my body infront touch his. Man, the smell of his purfume from his neck, it's been attacking my nose tril the whole time we were meters apart. Ngayon pa kaya na inches na lang? At mukhang iikot na nga ang mata ko sa ulirat dahil sa bangong hatid nito. Dagdagan pa ng hininga niyang kahit mag inhale lang siya gaya ngayon ay naamoy ko rin.

I don't really know if I am this observant to everyone o sa kan'ya lang talaga. I noticed everything about him, even the smallest things. Kaya rin siguro ako hulog na hulog sa kanya.

"I want to stay here for a bit," ulit ko sa sinabi, medyo klaro na at hindi kagaya no'ng nauna.

He nodded curtly. There's a casting shadow from his eyes. Dati pa man, ang pagka-misteryoso na talaga ng mga mata niya ang lagi kong napupuna - na hindi ko naman matagalan kung titigan ko ang mga ito dahil sa lalim. Gaya ngayon.
