Chapter 13
"Let's go..." he said to me softly before stooding up.
That was my last interaction with him during that school year. We graduated from elementary also Draia's brother from highschool.
However, when I still get to see him at our university every now and then, it feels and seems like nothing really change. Well, wala naman talaga dahil sa bukod nagpalit lang siya ng uniform at building, wala naman talagang nagbago because he chose to study yet here, again.
Ang sabi ni Draia, their parents made him to choose.
It made me bother and curious each passing day. Does he really love this school? O baka naman may ibang rason pa? May gusto kaya siyang babae dito tapos kaya ayaw niya palang lumipat ng school kasi... ayaw niyang iwanan iyon?
Uminit ang pisngi ko. Why did I get that idea, anyway? At tsaka bakit ko ba iniisip iyon?
"Where do you plan to study senior high?" Draia asked me while we were sitting in a four sit table inside this new open cafe.
I shrugged as I put my pink bagpack beside me. Sa bakanteng upuan saking kaliwa.
"Depende..."
"Depende kasi... it's still four years from now. We just got into highscool, Draia," I explained while watching her infront.
She nodded and made herself comfortable on the chair.
"Sabagay. Tama ka. Pero ako, I do rather get enrolled somewhere. We'll find new school for new environment and also for a fresh new start once we stepped being a senior highschool student!" Draia speak out her idea's enthusiastically.
"Kuya, here!" my bestfriend waved her hand infront, banda sa aking likuran.
Okay naman here.
She pointed the view outside through this glass window.
But never in my dreams that her brother would be here today, joining us after our dismissal.
She was already waiting for me at the back seat of their car.
Draia giggled and nodded. Nagmuwestra siya na pumasok na ako.
"Ayos lang! Hindi naman ako na bored kakahintay sayo dito," she rolled her eyes na hindi ko agad nakuha. "Pasok na, Ads! And drink water! Mukhang hingal na hingal ka!"
