(M/N) was in the kitchen when Suna found him. Suna leaned on the wall closest to the counter, studying the male as he was cooking.
"You're cooking miso soup and soba?" Suna raised a brow, "Usually you make sushi when you're in here, or (F/F)."
(M/N) shrugged, "this isn't for me. It's for Koda."
"The traitor?" Suna stopped leaning on the wall and walked to (M/N), "Why him?"
(M/N) took his eyes off the miso soup, "He still needs to eat. We can't starve him." He said smoothly.
Suna studied him, his eyes trying to find a hint of lying or a hint of him hiding something. Nothing, there was nothing. Either (M/N) was really good at hiding it, or he didn't have anything to hide.
Suna sighed, "Just be careful around him, we don't want him to get any more information."
(M/N) grinned, "Don't worry about me. I can handle my self."
"I know."
(M/N) turned back to the miso soup, seeing as it was done. He poured it into the bowl and put the soba in a different bowl. He grabbed a spoon and chopsticks. He put the two bowls of food on a tray and grabbed some iced water.
Suna still looked at him, "Maybe I should go with you."
"No," (M/N) looked at him, his eyes softened and his face was relaxed, you'll only get in the way. Was what he wanted to say, "he's behind bars. There's nothing he can do. Let me go alone."
Suna did not want to agree to that, but (M/N) was looking at him with such kind eyes. It was hard not to say no, (M/N) rarely had that look in his eyes.
"Okay, fine."
(M/N) grabbed the tray and walked to Suna, he smiled at him. Not a grin, not a smirk, nothing to give away he was hiding something, but a small gentle smile.
"Bend down real quick." (M/N) said.
Suna did, (M/N) gave a quick kiss to Suna's cheek. Leaving the taller male frozen, his cheeks burned with the color red, but (M/N) had already walked away.
Suna touched where (M/N) kissed, "he rarely makes the first move." He mumbled to himself.
He turned and walked away, passing by Aran who was side eyeing him. Suna glared at him, but continued to walk. Heading for the living room, seeing Atsumu and Osamu eating chips and watching tv. He sat on the other couch.
"Not hanging with your boyfriend?" Osamu asked, not taking his eyes off of the screen.
"Yeah," Atsumu agreed, stuffing more chips in his mouth, "finally have enough time for your forgotten best friends."
Suna rolled his eyes, "My bad. Next time just tell me, I can still hang out with you guys."
"So he's not controlling?" They finally looked at him.
"Huh? No. He's pretty calm and chill."
"Oh..." Atsumu grinned, scratching his cheek.
"Damn..." Osamu muttered.
"What?" Suna looked at them, both avoiding his gaze, "Did you guys say or do something? I wouldn't put it past you two."
"Well, you see... 'Tsumu would much rather say it." Osamu said, elbowing the already whining male to whine more.
Suna stared at them, no expression on his face. It was completely blank. Which scared the twins even more.
Atsumu shifted position, "Fuck you 'Samu." He muttered, "We may or may not have been following him around the mansion. And or yelled at him the other day." He quickly said.
Suna crossed his arms, "Yelled? Like what?"
Suna seemed a bit too relaxed at what Atsumu said. The twins glanced at each other. Atsumu pointed to Osamu, basically saying it was his turn to speak.
Osamu gulped, "Uh, well... we basically told him we knew you first. That we were always going to be there, that he shouldn't be more than just a fling to you. That he didn't deserve you, that he's just taking all your time and he only cares for himself. That he's using you, and you're using him."
Suna looked on edge, he bit the inside of his cheek. He took a deep breath and sighed.
"What did he do?" He asked, "He clearly didn't lay a hand on either of you, you both seem unharmed."
"All he said was 'I know.' and walked away. There was no anger, no sadness, nothing. It was completely void of emotion. It was like he wasn't listening to us or he just didn't care."
Suna narrowed his eyes, "You're honestly lucky he didn't do anything to you guys. You both wouldn't be on this couch right now eating chips. Probably in our infirmary room."
"Why would we be in the infirmary."
"When the time comes, you'll know. If I told you, you guys wouldn't believe it. So it's best to see it for yourself."
Suna leaned back on the couch, closing his eyes. Listening to the tv that was portraying sound. He was going to take a quick nap, hopefully to feel well rested.
He hasn't been in (M/N)'s room in awhile, last time was before the boat mission. Him and (M/N) have been on edge with each other a bit, there was an unspoken thing between them, and it was suffocating to Suna.
Sure, they sometimes showed affection, but Suna can't sleep as well. He would always toss and turn, he needed to hold (M/N) or be held by him.
"Perfect, Suna, Atsumu and Osamu. I have a something for you three."
Suna opened one of his eyes, seeing that Kita was standing tall. Looking at all of them. His lips were pursed into a thin line. Suna opened both of his eyes and sat up.
"You seem very serious." Suna said, "What do we need to do?"
"It's been too quiet with the Deadly Dragons. They haven't made a move in a few months. Try and find out what's going on, but do not pursue. Do not put yourself in danger, if discovered do not fight. We don't know how much stronger they have gotten. (M/N)'s words should be in your heads. 'They know what they're doing, they have everything they need. They'll outsmart you before you make your first move. They train for that.' This may takes hours, days even weeks."
A shiver ran down the three's spine, when (M/N) first told them, they didn't want to believe it. But they knew it was true, the Deadly Dragons have gotten stronger in every way possible.
"Yes sir." They said, standing up to get ready.
"I'll have to say bye to (M/N)." Suna said. Hoping that at most, they will be gone for only a few days.
He went to his room to pack, readying for what's going to be ahead of them.
While this was going on, before (M/N) went to Koda he went to his room for a few minutes. Getting something. He walked down to their basement, going past many different cellars and cells. Before stopping in front of one, Koda's.
Koda looked away from the wall, ready to yell at whoever was on the other side. He wouldn't give any information out. But his lips stopped.
He was looking at (M/N), but not the (M/N) he knew. This (M/N) looked taller, scarier. His eyes were a darker (E/C), like some type of demon was controlling him. (M/N) licked his lips and chuckled. His upper lips curved into a smirk.
"Hello Koda."
Even his voice was lower. Koda sat up, he shivered a bit. Who was this (M/N) and what's going on? (M/N) set the tray on the ground and pushed it in, he sat down and crossed his legs. His eyes on Koda as he watched Koda slowly approach the food.
"It's not poisonous," (M/N) said, "If I were to kill you I would want to do it by my hands. Not some cowardly way. Now, I have something to discuss with you."
Koda nodded, eating the soba first. That was his favorite.
