"Attention everyone, it seems that the world has been a bit quiet, too quiet." A news reporter began, pushing her hair back as she was live. "The rumors of the Hidden Demon only being a folk tale to scare children into behaving might just be a legend. Nothing bad has happened in about a few years. Let's ask some bystanders what they think of the Hidden Demon?"
The reporter walked for a few minutes, seeing a male looking at his phone. She stopped him, bringing up the hidden demon and putting her microphone in front of his face. He looked at the camera and then back to the lady, an eye brow raised but he answered.
"The Hidden Demon might just be dead. No one's every had any proof of a person like this monster to ever exist. No photos, no videos, nothing. It just started off of one rumor. The Hidden Demon reached the charts like a new song being uploaded."
"Thank you." And she moved onto the next.
This time it was a female who looked like she just wanted to go home.
"It's nothing but fake advertisement for misbehaving children. The Hidden Demon was nothing but a rumor. And it should stay a rumor." She shivered, "If the Hidden demon were real," she put her hands together as if she were praying, "god help us all."
"I agree, thank you for taking the time out of your day to answer."
She found a guy just walking out of a coffee shop, smoothing out his clothes as if he just finished his shift.
"You sir!" The male looked at her, raising a brow. "Do you believe the Hidden Demon is real?"
"Oh, he's real." The reporter raised a brow. Her mouth ajar as she never said a gender. "I used to be very good friends with the Hidden Demon. He's not a force to be reckoned with. He's very powerful and strong."
"You do realize you could go to jail for being acquainted with the Hidden Demon."
"How could I? When he's just a 'rumor'." The male chuckled, "I'm only grateful he spared my life."
"He spared you?"
"Surprising, isn't it?"
"Why'd you guys stop being friends?"
"I would say it's because I broke his heart, but, he never had one to begin with." He turned to the camera, "If you're watching this, my mysterious rōtasu, I hope you're doing well. And once more, I am so sorry for what I did." With that the male turned away and walked off.
The reporter scoffed, "That's some elaborate story."
She moved onto a kid, asking if he knew of the Hidden Demon, when she got a confirmation, she asked what his thoughts were on the rumors.
"I think he's real and alive." The kid turned to the camera, eyes a bit wide, "Why else would I see him in my dreams? There's no way rumors spread without any context. They have to form off of something-"
"I apologize for my son!" The mother cut him off, "He's been watching too much scary movies. Which he shouldn't! The Hidden Demon is obviously a rumor, and he's most likely scared from hearing the rumors. He's a unique child." She grabbed her sons arm, "You know better." She mumbled, the camera picking it up.
She dragged her son away, but the kid only turned his head, staring at the camera before shouting "The Hidden demon is real! And he's alive!" Before his mouth was clamped shut.
"That's a little... nerve wracking to hear from a kid." The reporter smoothed her clothes down, a bit frazzled from that unexpected answer. "Let's get one more opinion."
