The snow drenched (M/N)'s feet and ankles with each step he took. Alizer thought he could run off and survive without (M/N)? That had been the joke of the century, Alizer needed (M/N), he always did.

(M/N)'s snow covered eyes glanced down, a bit of ice tinged his eyelashes, but it felt good. He enjoyed that, odd as it may be, it gave him something to feel. No matter how tired or hungry he was, he could survive, Alizer couldn't.

He was still slowly following him, only to give the impression that Alizer could get away. Alizer was running off with heavy feet as (M/N) was walking with light feet. He could still sense Alizer somewhere in front of him, which meant he wasn't that far away. At least, for a normal person.

(M/N) could catch up to Alizer by walking, if he wanted.

He was just buying his time, enjoying the peace. A tinge of guilt did strike him, he had left Suna. Who knows how long it's been, the days blurred together. It might have been a few days or weeks even, but he was too busy enjoying the chase.

He should wrap this up, for Suna at least.

(M/N) shrugged it off, he always came back, no matter what. He could die in this snow and wake up hours later warm and energized to get back home. So, there shouldn't be a worry, he'll continue chasing Alizer. It was fun.

(M/N) hadn't had fun in awhile.

(M/N) tilted his palm to the sky when the wind picked up. The soft gentle breeze of the cold practically almost forced (M/N) to fall back from the startle of a new speed. He licked the inside of his cheek as a few snowflakes hit his unusually warm palms and melted.

A red tinge to his cheeks and nose from the cold that darkened the sky as the temperature dropped. He managed a smile, sighing out and seeing his breath filter out in front. He liked it here, he liked the cold and the warm. It was familiar territory. Being cold constantly.

"Suppose I should find that deadweight before the storm hits." He murmured to the snowy air.

A harsh howl of wind was the confirmation he needed. He stretched his arms over his head, hearing the satisfying pop of his joints. He let out a soft groan and shook his limbs for a moment.

He licked his lips, the crack of them seemed to look normal for the cold. A wicked smirk gleamed his features as he squatted into a runner's stance. Hands pressed into the freezing cold, but he felt nothing, nor cared to try and feel something.

His neck bristled, goosebumps littered his skin everywhere and he looked excited. He straightened his body, slowly feeling Alizer get out of his range of sensory. He waited a moment, giving Alizer a few minutes of a head start before he actually tried to capture him once more.

Like he said, (M/N) enjoyed having fun. And like many had said before, Hidden Demom enjoys playing with its food.

(M/N) rolled his shoulders like a panther, his smirk widening and his legs tightened. Once he felt it was enough time to officially let Alizer believe he was out of sight and mind, that he could escape, then did (M/N) take off. Alizer was in for a rude awakening, he could never escape (M/N). He could never escape Hidden Demon.

No one could.

Alizer ran and ran, out of breath and freezing. He could only imagine just how cold (M/N) was, hopefully he froze over and died, since Alizer still has the warm fur coat. He had never been more thankful for (M/N)'s weakness of pity.

At least, he thought (M/N) pitied him. That was what the coat was for right? Pity. Yeah, pity. Alizer laughed, (M/N)'s own foolishness will get him killed, just as he always knew. (M/N) was no match for Alizer.
