(M/N) watched as Koda slowly ate his food. Cautiously eyeing the food. (M/N) looked to the right corner in Koda's cell, seeing the camera wasn't on.
"Good, we have about five minutes before someone checks your camera."
Koda snapped his head back, seeing nothing but the camera. He turned to (M/N) an eyebrow raised.
"What?" He asked, slurping the last bit of miso soup before grabbing the water (M/N) also left him.
"See the camera? It's blinking red, that means no one is in the security room looking at you. When blinking blue, then someone is watching and listening. So, I have things to discuss."
Koda nodded his head, "Not like I can go anywhere. What happened to the sweet innocent (M/N)?" Koda looked at him.
(M/N) shrugged, "He was never here." The shorter male scoffed, thinking about how nice he's being to everyone, "I'm not here to talk about me. I'm here to talk about you being a spy. A traitor."
"I'm not," Koda shook his head, "I'm glad you think so. Keep blaming me, it won't get you nowhere."
(M/N) deadpanned at him, he grabbed Koda's shirt and pulled him close to the cell, Koda's face pressed against the metal bar, "Want to try lying to me again? Also, it's anywhere not nowhere."
Koda's eyes widened, "I don't know what you're talking about." He kept denying.
(M/N) shoved him back. Koda falling backwards, (M/N) looked at him slowly chuckling.
"Oh, this is gold. Don't you remember I tried to help? Not very well, but still. If only Aran didn't say anything you could be roaming around scott free."
"Why would you try to help me?"
(M/N) glanced at the camera, it went from blinking red to blinking blue. His eyes subtly glanced around his cell, landing slowly back on the male in front of him.
"Why would I help you? Well," his eyes went innocent, wide like his 'original' doe like eyes, "You were the first to welcome me!" He grinned, "I already felt apart of Inarizaki by your welcoming smile."
Koda narrowed his eyes at (M/N), knowing why he changed his attitude.
"Well, you seemed to have such a welcoming atmosphere trailing you. I thought it would be nice to have you around. But here I am, locked in a cell-"
"Watched 24/7." (M/N) pouted and sighed, "You were... my best friend. The closest thing I had here. Well, besides Suna, but we aren't talking about him right now. It's really upsetting you betrayed us." His pout increased.
Koda rolled his eyes at the act (M/N) was putting up. He wanted to know why (M/N) suddenly changed his mood, he knows it's not just because of the camera. He wanted to know who and what (M/N) really is.
"Well, I'm sorry. But believe me when I say I'm being set up. I'm innocent, I would never betray..."
"Never betray what?" (M/N) tilted his head.
"... you." Koda looked away, red coating his cheeks.
He wasn't lying, he really grew attached to the small male. But he knows (M/N) likes Suna, knows the things they've done. Everyone knows. He doesn't stand a chance. But, he wanted to get that off his chest before he rots in the Inarizaki confinement.
(M/N) looked at him, eyes looking deeply into Koda's. Looking for the coverup, the lie. But he sensed nothing. He shivered with the truth.
"Me? But... why?"
