[ No one's POV ]
"We arrived, gentleman," the cab driver says. Jack inhales deeply and looks at Ryan, who nods.
"You can do this, man. Just don't try to fight Chris and don't piss off anyone," Ryan says while grabbing his backpack and opening the car door. Jack scoffs and smiles, that's easier said than done. Chris and Jack have always tested each other, which leads to fights. Ryan has always been the one who had to stop them, since none of the other boys of the gang didn't dare to come between the leader of their gang and Chris, who had some pretty serious anger issues back then.
Jack pays the taxi driver and the guys step out of the car, which drove off immediately. The driver is probably happy that he doesn't have to hear their bickering or the lame jokes they told each other the whole way to Jane's house.
"Here goes nothing," Jack sighs and walks towards Jane's front door. Ryan rings the doorbell and they both wait for someone to open the door.
Ryan looks around the neighbourhood. Jane's house is the last house in a street full of the same looking houses with small front yards. Parents yelling at kids and a few dogs running back and forth. The sun is almost down, giving the rooftops a red glow and you can hear the rumbling of a train in the distance.
"Who the hell is at the d-," Jane opens the door and stops in the middle of her sentence, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.
"Did someone order two hot boys?" she jokes and flips her hair before turning around.Ryan chuckles, he already likes this girl. "Ehm... Are you Anna, Jane or Chanel?" Jack asks and rests his hand on the door frame.
"Jane...," Jane trails off and Anna appears beside her. "Oh my god. Jack and Ryan? Why did no one tell me that y'all were coming so soon?" Jane eyes them hungrily and nods in approval.
Ryan, who's wearing a flannel with a white shirt underneath and baggy jeans, laughs again, "Yeah, we're early. I'm Ryan." What surprises Anna is his English accent and this 'happy and nice'-guy vibe he has around him. Isn't someone who's a part of a gang supposed to be scowling and angry the whole time? Well, Chris could hide his bad temper so...
Jack, wearing a gray shirt with cut off sleeves and leather pants, fixes his snapback and looks at Anna, "Are you Chanel or Anna? Chris didn't send us any pictures, so." He shrugs carelessly, but on the inside, he's screaming like a lunatic. He's about to see his ex-girlfriend and he couldn't care less about Chris or Anna.
"I'm A-," Anna tries to say, but gets cut off by Chris storming to the front door.
"Dude!" he smiles and pushes Jane aside, who looks pissed at him. He does a handshake thing with Jack and gives Ryan a quick hug.
"Come in, come in," Chris grins and steps aside, accidentally stepping on Anna's foot. Jane shrugs and mutters, "alright, dickhead."
"Oh, sorry babe," he whispers to Anna while Ryan and Jack walk inside with curious eyes.
Anna scoffs and chuckles. "Sorry, who are you again?" She convinced herself that acting like she doesn't care about Chris is easier than hating him. Hating is really tiring. Chris rolls his eyes and begins talking to Ryan and Jack
---
They all walk to the living room, where Chanel and an uneasy Jessica are sitting on the brown couch. Chanel stops talking when Jack and Ryan walk in and stares at Jessica with big eyes. "Is that....?" She thought they still had an hour to talk before Ryan and Jack would arrive.
Jes almost chokes on her own spit when her eyes find Jack. She coughs and Chanel starts laughing softly.
"I-I'm gonna get some water," Jessica says quickly when Jack drops his bag in front of the other couch and sits down. She jumps up and says a quick, "Hey," to Ryan before scurrying out of the living room."I can literally feel the sexual tension in this room," Jane says in a attempt to joke, but it remains quiet.
The guys already talked about the important things in the hall, so there wasn't really much to say. Jane doesn't know the two boys invading her house, Chanel is too nice to say something unpleasant and Anna's still mad at Chris.
"Sooo... Anna," Ryan starts and sits down next to Chanel. She seems like the nicest one of them. Jane leans with crossed arms, against the wall and Anna has a dull expression on her face. At least Chanel is still smiling, "you know about it."
"I know your plan, yes," Anna says and raises her eyebrow. She's not in the mood for their shit. Her kiss with Jason seems days ago, but in reality, it only happened this afternoon. She still has to tell Chris and he will probably be pissed, but does she care? And she also doesn't want to be part of this plan, asking her granddad and possibly putting him in danger. She doesn't really have contact with her grandparents, on her mom's side, but they're still family.
"We just want to know the location of the cabin. We will be gone after that, I promise," Jack says straight to the point, anticipating for Jessica to come back to the living room. He has missed her like hell and he is counting down the seconds until he can finally speak to her again.
Anna raises her eyebrow after hearing his question and Jane chuckles, like hell, Anna's going to tell them what they want to know. Jane knows Anna all too well and she knows that Anna will probably be stubborn.
"No, I'm not gonna fucking tell you," Anna says and scoffs. "You fucking assholes. Seriously? You couldn't just ask me like this? No, of course. You fucking lead me on, I fucking let my guard down after my ex cheating on me. No, I'm not gonna tell you fucking shit."Chanel looks at Anna with a worried expression, Anna is probably planning her revenge in her head right now. "I think we need to talk about this tomorrow," Chanel says calmly, not wanting to piss anyone off. "So we can clear our minds, you know."
"There's not really much to clean," Jack says arrogantly. "Sweetheart, we just need to know the address." Just when he finishes that sentence, Jessica walks in.
"I think that's a good idea, Chanel," Jes agrees with Chanel and smiles at her. "We're all tired and probably not in the best mood."
"Alright, we'll talk tomorrow," Chris nods at Jack, "you guys can sleep at my house." Anna raises her eyebrows. What the hell? 'My' house? Who the fuck does he think he is to decide that?
"You mean my house? Just because our parents are fucking doesn't mean that it's yours too," Anna states and stands up.
Chris clenches his jaw and tries not to say something back, she's already pissed, no need to make her even more furious. "Well, Anna can they sleep over at your house? It's not like your dad or my mom are going to be there tomorrow. They are in Chicago, remember?" Ella is staying at a friend's house, thank God. Don't need her nose in our business, Anna thinks while sighing.
"If I say no, y'all will come anyways, so okay," she sighs again.
"This is going to be an interesting night," Ryan laughs and Chanel chuckles.
