As we planed. The next morning we went together to talk with Odin and Frigga.

"We have something to tell you". I start.

The emotions and worries already begin to creep in. Loki takes my hand and holds it to reassure me.

"Yes, there is something... We should start by telling you about a little journey we had a few years ago, a journey to Helheim". Loki continued.

"For one reason or another we ended up in Helheim, and there we wound up in an old castle. Where we were attacked... Or more precisely, I was attacked". I go on to say, adding to what Loki said.

The faces of the two had gone serious from the second we mentioned Helheim.

"In one way or another, we ended up escaping, and Freya's wound miraculously ended up disappearing, as did the arrow that had wounded her. So at the time we didn't think much of it".

"That is, until two months ago, when I began to feel unwell. After my friend Eira had a prophetic dream, we figured out that it was about that incident in Helheim. And then, it just kind of happened that a few days later, I accidentally astral projected and overheard a conversation the two of you were having. And it was about the energy you felt inside of me, and that it was that of a woman from Helheim". I finish up saying.

Odin got up from his seat, clearly disturbed.

"How much did you hear?". He asked.

"Oh, just that you asked if she could take over my body, and then that if I ever had a child, she would take over the body of the baby. And that you have to stop her no matter what".

Even if I said all that, Odin somehow looked like he had relaxed. Which made me think that there was more to that conversation that I hadn't heard.

"So we came to say that we know why the woman's energy suddenly intensified... That is because Freya is with child". Loki finally said it.

Both of them were in shock. Frigga looked saddened, while Odin looked furious, as if we had just done an incredibly horrible thing.

I once again began to worry.

"Those are not the faces one should make when finding out they are about to have a grandchild!". Loki jumped in, taking my side, clearly furious at the way they reacted.

"That's not it...". Frigga began saying.

"But that child should never exist". Odin cut her off.

Tears began to form in the corners of my eyes.

"Have you told anyone else about this pregnancy?". Odin went on.

I just shook my head, as I didn't feel like I had the strength to say anything without bursting out into tears.

"The only one that knows besides us is the healer that told us the news". Loki managed to say.

"Alright, I'll deal with her. You two shall not tell a soul about this child. And you, Freya, you shall stay in your home and not leave from now on. And no one shall be allowed to visit you unless I give them permission". Odin said.

"That's outrageous!". Loki raised his voice.

"It does seem a bit harsh...". Frigga took our side.

"It is a matter that concerns the whole of Asgard. I cannot put the whole realm in danger for the sake of one girl, no matter if she is having my grandchild or not".

I felt completely defeated. The worst possible outcome had just happened. The thing I feared most had just happened.

"We came here because we wanted your help! We didn't know what to do, so we hoped for your support! If we had know how you would treat us, we would never have come!". Loki yelled, but his voice was getting drowned out by my own thoughts.
