As the process of teleportation ended, I found myseld on a cold stone floor, in a dark, dingy room. From outside I could hear waves crashing into the cliff side's and seagulls screeching.
Then I feel my hands get bound. I look at them and see Fjolnir putting on me some handcuffs.
"There we go, now you won't be able to do any magic. And your little friends won't be able to find you, not even the great Heimdall will be able to find you". He said.
"What do you want from me? Is it revenge?". I ask, taking my hands back up from the ground.
"Oh, but of course. But that's not all. Not only did you kill my father, but you took away my birthright and had me run away from my own country and go into hiding for fear of being killed by the rebel scum that now claim they rule 'the new republic of Vanaheim'. Do you know just how humiliating this is!".
He was pacing around the room, raising his voice louder and louder, in an attempt to be imposing and to bring me some kind of feeling of fear. But all I saw was a scared little boy that had just been made an orphan.
"Well aren't you going to say something? Aren't you going to plea for forgiveness, for me to spare you?". He questioned, a menacing look in his eyes.
"I'm sorry for the hurt I have caused. But I am not going to apologise for killing Frey. If I had the chance, I would do it all over again. If you wish to kill me, I will accept it without a fight, as I was ready to lay down my life for the mission".
Fjolnir pointed a dagger at my neck, then used it to lift up my chin so that he could look into my eyes.
"You think I'm just going to kill you? Don't worry, what I'll do to you will be much worse".
The point of the dagger moved over to my cheek and I could feel it pierce my skin. But then he began to twitch and act unnaturally. He swung his head back and began to talk again.
"No, I'll not harm the body... Yes, just tell me where I can find the next artifact... Yes... Yes... I'll make sure the body is kept alive and well for you".
The moment he said 'for you', I got a chill throughout my whole body. Whoever had made a connection with him, I hoped it wasn't who I thought it might be.
"You're lucky that I won't be able to play with you as much as I would have liked to. We need to keep your body in a good enough condition for him. But I'll give you this one gift before going after the next artifact".
As he finished talking, the kicked me straight into the stomach so hard that all the air went out of my lungs and I lost consciousness.
---
When I finally woke up, I was all alone in the room. At first I tried to smash the handcuffs against the wall, but not a scratch appeared on them. All it did was to bruise my wrists. Then I went over to the only window of the room. As I looked down all I could see were jagged cliffs and an unforgiving sea.
"It is better than being stuck here". I say to myself.
The window had no glass, so I prepare myself to make the jump.
"It's fine, I'm sure it isn't as bad as it looks".
I run towards the window and as I was about to jump through it, something pushes me back. As I find myself on the ground I look back up and I see the waver of a magic barrier as it restores itself. I look closer at the ceiling of the window sill and notice a small sealing sigil made in blood. Then I notice that my palm had been cut.
"The little... He used my own blood to seal me in".
Then I go over to the door, and to my surprise, it was open. I begin to wander around the wet and cold castle. Soon to the smell of the sea mixed in the smell of food. I follow the smell until I find myself on the ground floor, in a room with a long dining table, and at it's end was none other then the old Njörd.
