—————-y/n POV ——————-
I woke to the noise of my alarm. Safe to say I wasn't as enthusiastic about getting up this morning knowing we had the fitness test. I got up out of bed and decided not to check my phone straight away. I opened the curtains which revealed the beautiful morning sun which lit up my room with a golden tint. I grabbed my sports bag and packed it with workout gear and a towel. I got changed into black skinny jeans and my new McLaren top which I was given yesterday along with other McLaren gear. I pulled the white t shirt over my head and picked up my phone from the bedside locker and walked downstairs. I looked at my phone to see a text message for Charles.

C~hey y/n I guess you were to busy to call to tell us how it went, give me a text in the morning to let me know.

Crap I forgot all about it. I went into face time and called Charles he picked up almost instantly.

Y/n- sorry Charles I completely forgot I got home late and was so tired so I just went straight to bed because I have my fitness test today.

C-don't worry about it...wait let me get the others.
He screamed "ARTHUR GET OUT OF BED Y/N IS ON THE PHONE"

Y/n- ah Charles leave him off it's only 5am.

Mum- Nope y/n he needs to get up he has to get into a routine now that he is in f2.

Y/n- oh hi mum and ye I suppose your right.

Arthur appears behind mum and Charles in the camera still half asleep, his hair was all over the place and he was still in his pj bottoms and didn't even bother to put on a top.

A- Morning y/n, so tell us how was it.

Y/n- it was great everyone was so nice I was really nervous if I'm honest but when I got there I met Charlotte my pr and Zak who went through a few things with me about the contract and what was expected of me you know all the stuff. then I met Jon my pt, and also met Lando again.

C-well did Lando look after you if not I will kill him!

Y/n- Charles there won't be any need to kill one of your best friends he was really nice and welcoming. I decided not to tell them about our dinner as I didn't think it was necessary and I didn't know how they would react.

C-that's good I'm glad your enjoying yourself, anyway we will let you go, best of luck in the test today and make sure to have a good breakfast.

Y/n- yes Charles I know

It was his first day meeting his new f2 team and he didn't tell the others he was nervous but I could see it in his eyes.

As I put my phone down to go make breakfast Alex came downstairs.

A-morning how you feeling about today.

Y/n- a little nervous if I'm honest but nothing major, how about you?

A-I'm not nervous just not looking forward to it, but look it has to be done. Oh will you make me some food too I'm going to jump into the shower.

He walked upstairs still looking half asleep. I made a simple fruit salad with yogurt and a protein shake each. I put Alex's in the fridge so it would be cool when he gets out of the shower. I sit down to eat it and just think to myself about today. I didn't know what to expect I have trained with Charles and was able to keep up with him when it came to running and cycling, cardio was my strong point. But when it came to weights I wasn't the best. I didn't want to make a show of myself and I didn't want them to think I'm weak.

When I was finished I put my dishes into the dishwasher and walked upstairs to get my things ready. I had my bag packed so I just needed to make sure I was ready I didn't want to wear loads of makeup because I knew I would sweat it off so I just put on some mascara and left it at that. I picked up my sports bag and hung it on my shoulder and grabbed my orange Mclaren jumper off my bed and put on my shoes. As I walked down stairs I seen Alex eating breakfast.

A- thanks for this y/n it's really nice, and best of look today, you will smash it.

Y/n- thanks Alex you too, talk to u tonight.

I grab my car keys and purse and make my way to my car. I throw my stuff into the boot of my car and drive out and make my way to MTC. I play my morning motivation playlist to get me in the mood for today. The whole way there I was thinking about what to expect, how hard would it be, would it be busy today. Then when I parked my car up I seen Lando wasn't here yet. When I seen the empty spot I started thinking about him again and last night. Wow that was so much fun. I got butterflies when I thought about him I didn't know why. I got out of my car and opened to the boot to grab my stuff. As I stood at my boot getting my stuff you could see my breath infront of my face. There was something I loved about the early sunny but chillie spring mornings. Then as I closed down the boot as I seen Lando pull up beside me. I decided to wait for him so we could walk in together.

When he got out of the car he gave me a huge smile but his eyes didn't match his mouth. He grabbed his bag from the passenger seat and walked over to me.

Y/n- not a morning person?

L-ohh is it that obvious.

Y/n- ye it is when your eyes look depressed and your mouth says otherwise you have the exact same face as Aurthur in the morning.

L- ye I hate the mornings and especially when it's the fitness test. I'm guessing you like mornings tho your glowing, I've never seen someone with that big of a smile and such wide eyes at this hour in the morning.

Y/n: ye I do like mornings especially when it's sunny but chillie, anyway we better go, can't be late.

L- yes let's go so we can get into the test and I can beat you in everything.
He smiled at me and this time his eyes matched.

How can he look so cute in the morning even when he looks half asleep...wow.

———Landos POV————-
I got out of bed and literally dragged myself into my car...god I hate mornings especially when it was the fitness test. Y/n has no idea what's ahead of her today. As I drive to MTC I go in complete silence just eating my banana as I drive. When I pulled into the car park I seen y/n at the boot of her car she seemed so happy and cheerful at this hour...how. As she turned her face the morning sun gave her an amazing glow and made her amazing brown eyes sparkle and her brown hair which was so perfectly plated to shine. How can someone look so good at this hour and had no makeup on she was naturally beautiful. When I get out I try fake a smile even though I was still half asleep but seeing her helped and put me in a better mood. She could tell I wasn't a morning person. As we walked into MTC just walking alongside her made me smile, this is so weird the way I feel around her. Anyway JUST FRIENDS LANDO NOTHING MORE!! I say to myself over and over.
