I don't want to lose you

Today was my first official day at McLaren safe to say I was shitting it!! I got myself ready and wore the usual McLaren outfit, the white top and black jeans you get it. I curled my hair and walked downstairs to get some breakfast. I looked at the counter to see a note from Alex.

~I had to leave early today to film a video for red bull just wanted to wish you luck for today, and don't get dinner I will bring you out tonight for a treat.

Alex was so good to me, he was like a brother when I wasnt with my own and was also probably my best friend along with Charlotte of course 'Charles girlfriend not my pr at McLaren'. I got a slice of toast and a coffee and left for MTC. I had a meeting with Zak and Andreas who I was nervous about meeting but Lando said he was pretty chill. I think Lando was coming to the meeting too. I'm guessing it was to just finalise a few things.

I pulled up and parked my car Lando was already here as I seen his car parked beside mine. I made my way into MTC and walked to the receptionist Emily.

E-good morning y/n nice to finally meet you I'm Emily

Y/n-hi Emily it's a pleasure to meet you, I have a meeting with Zak and Andreas I was wondering where I am to meet them...Zak told me to check in with you before meeting them.

E-ohh yes no problem just give me a second to check it.

Then Lando comes running up to me.

L-hey y/n good morning, here I got you this.

He hands me a warm cup of coffee

Y/n-awh thanks Lando

E-oh hi Lando and y/n you are to meet them at Andreas's office, do you know where it is?

Y/n-ehh I think so but I'm not definite

L-I'm meeting with the lads now too so come I will show you.

Y/n-okay perfect thanks...ohh and thanks Emily great to meet you!!

E-you too y/n.

Lando and I make our way to the lift as Andreas office was on the top floor.

L-nice earings

He gave me a cheeky wink. They were the ones he had bought me.

Y/n- thank you I got them from a very handsome guy.

We both start laughing and Lando plants a cheeky kiss onto my lips.

L-sorry I couldn't help it you look really cute, and I mean no one could see us so I had to take the opportunity.

Y/n-I'm not complaining It was very nice.

The elevator door opened and Lando ushers me out first and we make our way into the office where Andreas and Zak were seated with friendly faces. We walk in and I introduce myself to Andreas for the first time in person. We had spoke through the phone and email but never in person, he was really friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable, it helped having Lando there too.

We just talked about the plans and my schedule which he emailed to me so I would have it. He explained that our first and only test before the first round in Melbourne had been scheduled to next week. I was excited to finally get into an f1 car and see what it's all about. We were in the meeting for about two hours. Lando and I had different schedules he had to go to work in the simulator and I had to meet with Charlotte but we both had lunch at the same time so we decided to meet up and have our lunch together.
