After a few days in Monaco we fly straight to Portugal for the GP weekend. It was weird not flying out with the whole team but it was nice flying out in the same jet as my family. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to race this weekend after the hit to the head, I had to get checked over by the medical team but I was feeling really good.
We waited at the airport for everyone from McLaren to land. The others left for their hotel. We sat Infront of the huge glass windows overlooking the runway. The sun was rising over the horizon and was gently peaking above the runway. It was beautiful.
After an hour the jet lands and everyone from McLaren gets off and meets us. We get into the minibus and go to the hotel. We get our keys and our bags and head up to the room.
C-so you guys unpack and relax or whatever. Meet us back down here at 6 we are all having dinner.
L-okay see you then
We go upstairs and into the hotel room. I drop my bags into the bedroom and walk out onto the balcony overlooking the sea. You can see the track in the far distance. I walk into the bedroom to start unpacking. When I walk in my bags are empty
L-already done
Y/n-how did you do it so fast!
L-y/n you were on the balcony for almost half an hour
Y/n-really?!
L-yes, what were u thinking about?
Y/n-nothing I was just taking it in
L-ahh I see. So how are u feeling for the is weekend
Y/n-allot calmer than usual actually
L-yes me too!
Y/n-us having our life more sorted out and no more drama probably helps
L-yes that definitely helps
Y/n-okay well I guess we better head down to the others for dinner
L-ye let's go
We go down and meet everyone in the restaurant. We sit beside Charlotte and Jon as usual.
L-so how is your relationship going guys
J-LANDO BE QUIET
L-crap I forgot
Y/n-it's okay I don't think anyone heard
C-ye it's going really well actually
L-awhhh so when's the wedding
J-lando!
L-I'm only messing guys calm down
C-so when's your wedding guys
Y/n-we got married in Monaco actually
L-yep...surprise
C-SHUT UP!
J-omg guys really!?
Y/n-NO!
C-oh my god ughh I got so excited
J-I was just sad we weren't invited
L-well when we are getting married u will be the first on the list
Y/n-When??? What if I don't ever want to marry u?
