I unlock the door to my apartment and invite everyone in. They were all in awe of it, I wasn't surprised because it was absolutely amazing if I do say so myself.

Everyone goes and unpacks their stuff. I was so excited to spend the weekend with them even though it was only for 2 nights, it was better than nothing. While everyone is unpacking I make a start on dinner. Then Charlotte and mum decide to help while the lads play the PlayStation. We didn't make anything to fancy just simple but delicious food. It was of course relatively healthy. Then I hear a knock on the door. I look up at the clock to see it was 7:05pm.
C-I will get it
He jumped up from the couch and walked to the door to see Alex and Lando standing at the door together.
C-OMG GUYS ITS SO GREAT TO SEE YOU !!!!
A&L- you too Charles we have Missed you...well who are we kidding we have missed all of you.
The all sit on the couch and we all talk to each other as a group just simple chat and catch up.
L-need any help in the kitchen?

Y/n-yep we are all good, well actually you could set the table if you would like?
L-sure thing.
He walks over to the presses and gets the plates and glasses to set the table.
A-ehhhh Lando how do you know where everything is?
L-ehhhhh...just a lucky guess
Alex was to busy playing the PlayStation with the others to look any further into it. Me and lando look at each other and widen our eyes then shoot each other a smile. We began to finish up cooking and we brought all the food to the table and everyone sat down.
C-so y/n your the new rookie this year how are you finding it so far?
Y/n-ye I mean it's very different and allot more work involved but everyone at mcclaren has been so good and really helpful and welcoming and lando has been great too.
C-good to hear.
A-so how are we all feeling for next weekend

L-same here
Y/n-I'm buzzing I'm really nervous though.
L-don't be it will be fine and it will be good to have your first test weekend over with and there won't be any major pressure it's just to see where we all are at.
C-exactly
Y/n-ye I suppose I just want to make a good impression I don't want to be coming dead last.

L-well U have trained like an absolute animal and spent ages in the sim. I'm sure you won't be dead last
