I don't want to lose you

I walk into Charlotte's office with a massive smile on my face. I'm still buzzing from the meeting and I'm so excited to get to meet everyone and finally start work as an f1 driver this is going to be insane.

C: Hey y/n, I'm guessing it went well judging by the smile on your face.

Y/n: yes omg Charlotte it went so well he is so nice he talked through some contract stuff and said that you will be introducing me to some people I will be working closely with.

C: Im so glad it went well for you, I'm also happy to have another girl working here. Sit down and we will have a little chat about who we will be meeting.

Then I hear a knock on the door and turn around to see the door slowly being open with someone's foot. Charlotte starts laughing and gets up to pull the door open. In walks an a boy carrying three cups of coffee.

L: Hey y/n it's Lando your new teammate, I brought you and Charlotte a cup of coffee.

Y/n: Thank you so much Lando it's great to meet you properly.

He sat down beside me at Charlotte's desk and hands us each our cup of coffee. His hands were shanking as he put the coffee down trying not to spill them.

C: so y/n this is who we will be meeting today.
She hands me a piece of paper

L: hey Charlotte why don't I introduce y/n to everyone and show her around. I mean I already know everyone and it would give you time fo get stuff in order and give me and y/n time to get to know each other.

C: that's a nice offer Lando, y/n what do you think?

Y/n: ye I mean it sounds like a great idea.

Lando stands up from his chair and holds out his hand to help me up from my chair. We walk out of Charlotte's office and begin to walk down the hallways of MTC.

L: so y/n we haven't really talked properly I don't know much about you personally but from watching f2 I've seen your pretty talented.

Y/n: thanks so much Lando that really means allot, I try really hard to make a name for myself because it kinda sucks being known as Charles and Aurthers sister.

L: yes I get you completely and this is your chance to make your own mark in f1.

Y/n: I can't wait I'm so excited to get started but I'm also really nervous but this team seems great I just really don't want to let them down.

L: don't worry I'm sure you will be great and with a teammate and mentor like me how could you not be. (He laughs)

Y/n: ohhhh is that so Me Norris. As I give him a cheeky look and then we both start to giggle

L: okay so let's go to the gym and I will introduce you to Jon our pt

Y/n: sounds like a plan.

As we walk into the gym Jon gives us a weird and confused look. We look at eachother confused then realise we are still holding hands from when he helped me up from Charlotte's office. We take our hands apart and start to giggle.

J: ohhh come on guys it's her first day and your already making moves Lando ?

L: shut up Jon it's not like that we didn't notice.

Y/n: sorry Jon

J: it's okay don't worry i won't tell anyone.

Lando and I look at eachother then at jon who rolls his eyes while smiling.

J:okay now, so hi y/n I'm jon and I'm going to be you and Landos pt. So today I'm not going to do anything as it's your induction day but tomorrow it's all kicking off.

L: ohhh here we go y/n this is the worst part of the new season.

Y/n: wait why what going on.

J: oh Lando don't be over reacting she will be fine. So tomorrow we will do a fitness test it will be full on but it will allot me to see where your at and what we need to work on.

L: just so you know I'm gonna beat u in every single test

I push Lando "as if, wait until u see what I'm made of, you don't stand a chance"

J: that's the attitude we like y/n, and who know a bit of friendly competition can maybe push you to be better.

After chatting to Jon we were finished so we headed back towards Charlotte's office to let her know we were done, she wasn't there so we left a note. Lando showed me the rest of MTC and before we knew it, it was 6pm.

Y/n: thanks so much Lando I really enjoyed today it was so nice to meet you all and I look forward to getting to know u all better.

L: ye it was really nice to meet you too, I don't suppose you want to go have dinner with me tonight?

Y/n: I would love to im absolute starving

We walk out of MTC and towards our cars. Lando unlocks his car and insists we go in his car to the restaurant.
