I wake up and sprint to the bathroom to get sick, before I knew it lando was behind me holding back my hair. Once I'm done I stand up and brush my teeth.

L-how are you

Y/n-I feel fine now...once I get sick I'm okay afterwards

L-oh thank god...will you eat some breakfast?

Y/n-ye that would be great...thanks

L-I will go and make it now

I finish brushing my teeth then I head downstairs to the kitchen and help lando make breakfast.

Y/n-I'm so nervous about today

L-don't be it's going to be okay

Y/n-I hope so lando, like it's a pretty big dent in the season...after all I'm the only driver to win this season

I let out a giggle as I tease him

L-oh give over...I'm going to win his season

Y/n-with me gone of course you will

L-god your new found confidence just ends up with me getting roasted all the time huh?

Y/n-oh well if you get a race win trust me...you will be ten times worse

L-no...WHEN I win a race

L-but seriously y/n they will be happy for us...and if they aren't I will lose it

L-well if they give out and are mad I'm not going to sit there and do nothing

L-yes let's hope

We finish off breakfast then head upstairs and get changed. Lando wears his usual and I put on some leggings as they were stretchy and I put on my McLaren uniform.

L-ready babe?

Y/n-yup

I pick up the keys and throw them to lando as we walk out the door. We get into the car and my phone rings. I answer it as it connects to the speaker in the car.

R-hey y/n

Y/n-oh hi Ria, lando is here too it's on speaker...we are on the way to work

R-oh hi lando

L-hello

R-so I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping this evening

Y/n-I would love to

R-great...what time do you get off work at

Y/n-five...I can collect you at half five if you want

R-yes that's perfect and lando max will be home so you two can go play golf or whatever

L-perfect

R-okay great, see you then

Y/n-can't wait

I hang up the phone and turn up the radio and lando and I sing and dance the whole way. It was so good to be this happy and excited about something...I haven't felt like this in so long, it was like I was high.

We park up and make our way inside and straight to the team meeting.
