——Saturday——
I wake up to landos arms around me, I quickly got up as I was sweating.  It was so hot here. I sat out on the balcony to try cool down.

L-hey babe you okay?

Y/n-ye I'm just sweating

L-ye it's hot, it's going to be a hard weekend with this heat

Y/n-ye it really is

L-do you want something to eat

Y/n-no thanks, I will get something to eat when we get to the track

L-will you eat something small...like an apple?

Y/n-no it's okay

L-y/n you need to eat though

Y/n-okay then an apple

L-great, I will get it

I open up my phone and look through my social media, everyone was posting about how they expected me to win...usually it would put more pressure on me but I've got used to the pressure and part of me enjoys it now.

L-here you go

He hands me an apple and a cup of coffee then sits down beside me as we look over the busy city.

Y/n-thanks

L-how are you feeling

Y/n-fine actually

L-no nerves

Y/n-no not really

L-that's good

Y/n-ye I guess so

I take small sips of my coffee as I watch lando devour his apple. I take a small bite out of mine then put it back down. I wasn't hungry. I had a weird feeling in my stomach, like nerves and excitement but I wasn't feeling either of them.

Y/n-im going to get changed

L-okay

I go inside and pick out my cloths for today, I wore some shorts and my McLaren cloths. I tied up my hair as lando got changed. We finished packing our bags then went to the track.

We walk in through the busy paddock with the sun beaming down, we make our way straight to the garage. I put my bag down in the corner and walk out onto pit lane to see Zak and Andreas...they were watching the f2 qualifying.

Z-ready for another strong performance today

Y/n-ye I am...I really am

Yesterdays practice sessions were incredible again and it gave me a massive confidence boost. I was not exactly the confident type but after our performance in Bahrain and our practice yesterday it made me realise we have a real chance this year. I wasn't going to let my nerves bring me down. I was getting used to the whole f1 life.

Z-pole?

Y/n-I'm not settling for anything less...we have a championship to win this year

Z-your confidence has really rocketed...that's good to see you finally believe in yourself

Y/n-ye it feels good too

Z-right come on back to the garage and we can run through a few things

I follow them both inside and take my seat in my driver chair. Lando was over talking to Jon.
