I step out of the shower to see lando laying in bed on his phone.

L-oh good morning y/n

Y/n-morning lando, you better get in the shower we need to go to work

L-ugh you sound like my mum

I just laugh and walk over to the wardrobe to get my cloths. We get some breakfast then head straight to mtc. As we walk in we notice Andreas talking to Jon in the lobby. Me and lando both look wide eyed at each other and sigh.

A-oh guys, can I speak to you in my office?

I look back over to lando

L-I guess so but don't you dare come at us again

A-don't worry I just want to apologise

Lando takes my hand and we follow Andreas to his office. We take a seat beside each other and keep our hands held tight together.

A-so guys I'm really sorry about what I done, I don't know what came over me

Y/n-Andreas what you said it, it absolutely destroyed me like you have no idea how hard it is being a girl in motor racing. We have to prove ourselves more than guys and I know your going to be like no you don't but we do!! We really really do! It's so much harder to get people to believe in you when you a female driver

A-yes I understand now. I've spent the past few months thinking about what I done and I feel horrible about it

A-yes, I will let you go now and congratulations guys and once again I'm sorry

We both look back at him and give him a forced smile and walk out he door. We make our way down the hall to the sim.

Y/n-that went better than I expected

L-ye I guess so

Y/n-what's wrong

Lando hasn't looked up from the floor since we left his office.

L-I just can't forgive him for what he said like it was absolutely awful and I don't know I don't think I can forgive him

Y/n-listen lando, it's hard to forgive people for hurting you but we are working for McLaren and we want to succeed right?

L-yes

Y/n-and we will need Andreas to do that, we don't have to be best friends with him...we just need to be civil

We each spend a few hours in the sim then get fitted for this seasons suits and seats. We finish up then make our way home. I walk in through the tall door and kick off my shoes and gently place them at the rack by the door.

L-come on let's get ready

We were going for dinner with max and ria. I was so excited because I got on so well with them both. We were going somewhere pretty fancy soo I had to find something nice. I opend the wardrobe and stared blankly into it.
