I wake up to lando gently kissing my forehead.

L-good morning baby

Y/n-morning Lando

L-come on, let's get ready for our last race of the season

We get up and get ready to go to the track. We walk down the hotel hallway and see through the glass window looking down at the lobby. It's full of fans and reporters.

L-let's go out the back way

He takes my hand and we sneak out the back so we didn't have to go through everyone. I get into the car and drive to the track. Lando calls Jon as I drive into the car park.

L-hey Jon where are u?

J-we are all in the hospitality meeting room

L-oh we will be there in 5

I park the car and we get our bags out and walk into the track and go straight to the meeting room to talk about the race plan. We didn't really have any tac ticks for the race as we were already locked into position the goal was just to finish as high up as we can and enjoy the race.

After warm up we go to to the restaurant and get some lunch. We were both really excited for the last race as there was no pressure on us and we both qualified really well and the cars were amazing.

Y/n-imagine if we both got onto the podium

L-that would be amazing

Y/n-and it's not exactly out of the relms of possibility we are both preforming really well this weekend

L-very true

Y/n-we better get ready

We walk back to our rooms and get ready for the race. Then we go into the garage. I see Arthur on my side of the garage. Usually he is with Charles in the Ferrari garage or with his other friends.

Y/n-are u watching from in here?

A-sure am

Y/n-great

I sit and talk to him for a while then go out and park up onto the grid. I pull myself out of the car and take of my helmet.

Y/n-god it's hot

Z-yes it's he hottest it's been all weekend

I walk over to the pit wall and sit down. Lando comes over and so dose George. We all chat for a little.

Y/n-you excited for your last race with Williams

G-yes it's been a great few years with them but I can't wait to get into the merc seat. Next year will be incredible

L-it definitely will, for all of us

We talk to a few reporters then get into our cars. I look back at lando again he kisses the charm on his chain then sits back down into his car. I get ready then sit into the car.

We set off for the warm up lap. I pull up to my grid position. The lights come on...
'ITS LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!'

I get an incredible start and so too dose Lando. The first lap is clean surprisingly. It's Max, Lando, Me, Lewis, Charles and Alex.

The order stays the same then it comes to the pit stops. I pit last out of the leading group and when I re join it's the same order except me, max and lando have pulled a two second gap between the others. Throughout the whole race the gap behind me increases. I stay within a second of max and lando.

Lando is pushing hard to get past Max. I've never seen him race like this. He is making no mistakes. He really wants this win. He shoots past max into the first corner then starts to pull away. I see max is struggling for grip as I can't go any faster but the gap to me and max is getting smaller.

It's the last lap and I'm within two tenths of him. I want to get second. Make is a 1,2 for McLaren for the second time this year. The whole lap I'm catching him. The last corner I clench my teeth and send it around the outside and get incredible drive out of the corner. I got second!!

J-INCREDIBLE DRIVE THATS P1 and p2

Y/n- WOOOOOO LETS GOOOO!!!!

We pull up the cars Infront of the podium. I get out of the car and sprint over to lando.

Y/n-well done babe you done it!!! YOU WON YOUR FIRST RACE!!!!!

L-I can't believe it!!! And u got second this is PERFECT!!!

Then max parks up and everyone screams. He gets out of the car and runs into the arms of his team. When he is finnaly released for Christian's arms I walk over to him and hug him.

Y/n-Congratulations max you were amazing all year I'm so happy for you!

M-thank you y/n I can't believe it this means so much!

After all the interviews we make our way onto the podium. The crowd screams when Lando steps onto the top step. After the British national anthem plays he gets down and takes my hand we both step down off our steps. Max stands back with a huge smile on his face. He looks so happy from winning the championship. I look back to lando. He gets down Infront of me on one knee and pulls out a ring.

L-y/n leclerc I love you so much and your the best thing that has ever happend to me.Will you marry me?

I can't help it I burst into tears

Y/n-YES!!!!

He places the ring onto my finger and stands up and kisses me. The crowd screams. When he pulls back I see the tears in his eyes. I wipe them away with my thumb.

Y/n-I love you

L-I love you too

We spray the champagne then go down back to the team. They all congratulated us.

L-thanks guys for everything

We go and do some interviews

R-y/n leclerc soon to be y/n Norris, how dose it feel?!!

Y/n-incredible I can't believe it

After all the interviews we go back to the garage. They have it all decorated and have bottles of champagne.

Everyone- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

We celebrate with everyone. Then Charles and Carlos come running in.

Y/n-wait...you weren't watching golf were you?

L-nope we were planning it all

C-oh my god y/n that's why they wanted us to leave, I mean it worked

L-ye Jon, you have to do something pretty special to beat my proposal

J-how would I compete with that

Y/n-hahaha

We all celebrate then me and lando go back to the hotel.

L-you like it

Y/n-like it? Lando it's beautiful. The whole thing, everything. I can't believe it

L-im glad you said yes, it would be embarrassing if you said no Infront of all those people

Y/n-Lando I was hardly going to say no, I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you

L-I love you too
