I don't want to lose you

I woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing beside my bedside locker. I leaped out of bed and got into the shower and blared my favourite playlist. I was so excited, today was my first day at Mclaren. I needed to make a really good impression.

When I got out of the shower I got dressed into navy skinny jeans with a white top and a cute jacket. I had to make a good impression especially on my first day. I couldn't mess this up this was a chance of a lifetime, finally a chance to escape the shadow of my brothers.

I grabbed my keys off the counter of my best friend's apartment. I was staying there for a few nights while I got settled into McLaren and could find my own place. I lived in Monaco with my brothers and my mum but I couldn't stay there because MTC was based in England. I was born in Monaco however me and my brothers traveled allot. In order to get the best opportunities in karting you have to travel all around the world to race against the best of the best. As I was walking out I heard him scream.
A/A: Heyyyy Y/N, you seriously weren't going to leave before saying goodbye?

Y/N: Sorry Alex I thought you were asleep and I didn't want to wake you but anyway goodbye I don't want to be late on my first day, wish me luck.

I met Alex Albon through karting we were very close friends he was racing for red bull this year in f1. We are so excited to be in f1 together.

I gave him a quick hug and ran down the hallway and to the car park. I leaped into my car. It was an all black 3 series bmw. It was my older brother Charles's car he gave it to me when he got his new Ferrari. As I got onto the motorway I rang Charles on the Bluetooth in the car.

C/L: Hey Y/N are u on your way yet?

Y/N: Yep just got onto the motorway. I'm so excited but also kind of nervous, I don't know anyone what if they hate me?

C/L: Listen y/n they will love you don't stress it just be you, they wouldn't have given u the contract if they didn't like you. Your gonna smash this!!!

Y/N: I'm guessing Aurther is still asleep and mum is gone for a walk so tell them I said hello and I will call you all later but I have to go I'm almost here.

C/L: Okay no problem and y/n don't worry you will be okay, talk to you this evening.

I hung up the phone and drove the last ten minutes in silence to try and relax. As I got closer the excitement slowly faded into nerves I was beginning to panic. I started to realise what was actually going to happen. I was the only girl in f1 and would now be the face of girls in formula racing. I needed to prove that girls can be just as good if not better than boys. Omg this was crazy, it was so much pressure, more than I had even realised. I had so much to prove not only for myself but for girls in motorsport. What if I can't handle the pressure?

As I drove into the MTC car park I was almost crying I was so scared. I parked the car in a space which said y/n leclerc. Okay this has become really real I can't believe this is happening. I checked my makeup in the mirror and got out of the car. I looked around and was surprised to see that it wasn't busy there were very few cars here and allot of empty spots. I guess it's only an induction day so all the staff weren't needed. I looked to my left to see the most amazing Papaya McLaren. My jaw dropped it was amazing as I walked along the front I seen the spot had the name 'Lando Norris' on it. It was my teammate. I didn't really know Lando I've talked to him briefly a couple of times but only when I was with Charles or Alex. I don't really know him at all to be honest.

I made my way down the Lane way to the entrance of MTC. I was so nervous and I had no idea what to expect.
