CH-24 Work Studies

Midoriya's POV
We woke up pretty early and I had tried to go for some early morning training but Kyoka had pulled me back into bed and gripped onto me tight so that I couldn't leave. I accepted it and just let her use me as a pillow even though she was actually awake and should be getting up ready for training in class. Eventually I forced her up and got changed before heading downstairs for breakfast, once we ate we all headed out to class and waited patiently for Mr Aizawa. We had accepted that he would be late for class no matter what so nobody was ever in their seats when the bell went but this time he was actually on time and everyone scrambled their way to their seats. He introduced us to three third years who are known as UA's 'Big Three' to explain what work studies were, they were like a long term internship but we were to be considered a sidekick or even a pro. We would also be given payment so it was as though we were actually employed at the agency, also if we impressed the pro at the agency we could be offered a sidekick position at their agency once we've graduated. There was Tamaki Amajiki who was extremely nervous. Nejire Hado who was overly enthusiastic, she kind of reminded me of Mina. Lastly there was Mirio Togata, he was a funny guy but he laughs way to much at his own jokes. Once they had all introduced themselves Mirio suggested that we all fight him at once to explain what a work study with a pro hero can do for you, we were all a little confused as to why he thinks he could take us all on at once. Even if he was one of the strongest in the school, taking on twenty students who have faced real villains in combat wasn't the smartest idea nor the easiest.

We all got changed into our gym uniforms and went to a training area, the big three were already there and we started to fight Mirio only. I charged in first but my kick went straight through his face, the ranged attacks which were launched at him after my attack went through him as well and almost hit me. Suddenly he just dropped through the floor of the building and disappeared, he reappeared behind Jiro completely naked and she screamed before getting punched in the stomach and knocked down. He then knocked down every other ranged fighter in an instant, we all stood there in awe as I started to analyse his attacks. He then disappeared through the floor again and we waited for him to reappear, I predicted that he would appear behind me since I was at the back of the group. I turned around and launched a kick before he even showed up and he then popped up out of the ground right into my foot. He was launched back a bit and stared at me with a look of shock whilst I just smirked knowing that I had figured him out.
"Well, that was pretty good. But lets see how you deal with this" He charged right at me and I swung my leg around to kick him but he ran straight through me and punched my back knocking me down, he then easily knocked down everyone else and finished the fight. He then went on to explain how his quirk works, it allows him to pass through absolutely everything even the ground itself and when he releases his quirk it launches him out of the ground. After that he explained that he used his experience in his work study with Sir Nighteye to gain power and get stronger.

We all got changed and went back to class to continue our normal lessons. After our lessons I whispered to Kyoka to get changed into something nice and meet me outside our dorms, she was confused but did as I said. She went to her room whilst I went to mine to get changed, I headed outside and waited for Kyoka to arrive to head out on our date and she arrived not too long after myself. She was wearing a black top with a light blue jacket hanging off of her shoulders, white shorts that were very short, red shoes with some black socks and fishnets on her legs. I was wearing some blue jeans with a white top and a green jacket as well as black shoes.
"W-Wow, you look beautiful" I said as I was staring at her.
"T-Thanks. But uhhh, where are we going?" She asked confused.
"On a date" I said as I grabbed her hand and led her out of the school grounds and down into the city.
"You did ask a teacher for permission to leave didn't you?"
"Yep, All Might said he would take care of it for us"
"Good, so how long have we got?"
"Until curfew" I replied with a smile.
"Really? Well then, you better have some good stuff planned then"
"Don't worry, I do" I said with a confident smirk.
