Chapter 17.
A month and a bit later.

Rogers due home in two hours. You can't wait. You've  been doing this whole pregnancy thing alone for the last  month, all the morning sickness, cramping, back pain (already). It would be nice to have some help doing things. You were two months pregnant and you were estimated to be due around valentines day next year. You have your first proper scan in two days, you put it off so Roger could be there too. Over the time he was away, you realised you had fallen in love with him.

You decide to get up and get dressed for the first time this week. You haven't told your family you were pregnant, not yet, you couldn't. You decide to make some food for Roger coming home, pizza, cocktail sausages and chips. By  the time you were done, he was due home in half an hour, so you put the food on the oven so it doesn't go cold, and sit on the couch and read the magazine you bought last week.

Sooner or later, you heard the door open, you look over, and there he is. Roger. Home. You run over to hug him, the second you reach him, he pulls you in for a kiss, softer than all the others, as if he thought he might hurt you. After a minute, you pull away, noticing he's crying, so you pull him in for a hug, sobbing yourself.
"I can't believe this is real. Me a dad."
"I know, trust me."
"The boys are coming over in two hours, to see you, but first I have a present for you, well for our baby."
Those words 'our baby' sent butterflies to your stomach.
"Sit." He said, with a gift bag in his hand, ushering you to the sofa.
"Can I have it, or are you gonna open it."
"Here, love." He said, excitedly.
You open the bag. 15 baby grows from each state the band had been playing in for the last month. You pulled him in for a hug, staying like that for about ten minutes. It was comfy, neither of you wanting go pull away. Roger was nuzzling into your neck, one hand on your belly. Finally, you pull away, telling him there's food in the oven so you both head to the kitchen to eat. You talk over the meal for about an hour before Freddie, John and Brian burst in, carrying a massive bouquet of blue and pink flowers, and boxes of chocolates.
"Congrats, darling, you'll both be fabulous parents."
"Thank you Freddie."You say, hugging the man.
"I can't believe you're going to be a mum, you'll be great, I'll babysit anytime, you know that."John said, before giving you a massive bear hug.
"You don't have to, you know, deaky."
"I know, I want to, I love kids, can't wait to have them."
"Aw thanks so much deaky."
Brian came up and picked you up for a hug.
"Oi, I'm not that short."
"Yeah you are. I have to break my neck to look at you."
Everyone bursts out laughing.
"Congratulations, if you ever need me I'll be here."
"Thanks Brian."

With all the congrats out of the way, everyone headed to the sitting room. You sat down and Roger lay down resting his head on your lap and Began talking to your belly.
"Rog, what are you doing?" Deaky asked, laughing.
"Takking to my baby, what else would I be doing."
"Why, I dont think the baby can hear you."
"I don't care."
While the other boys laughed, you found it very sweet. You couldn't help but get butterflies as you sat playing with his hair. Every now and again, he would look up at you and smile. He sat like this for about three hours while everyone else was chatting.

Rogers pov

I didn't want to get up. I never wanted to leave her or the baby she's carrying. I'm talking to the baby because I want it to know how much I love it already, even if it could here me. Y/n is playing with my hair, it gave me that warm, cosy feeling in my belly. Everytime I looked up at her I couldn't help but smile. She looks so beautiful, even when she's just sitting doing nothing, talking to the boys. I realise that I have to sleep in my own bed so I do something stupid.
"Boys, it's about 11, stay over, deaky and Bri can take the sofa bed, Fred you can take my bed and I'll sleep in with y/n."
"Soudns like a plan." She says, which makes me relax even more.
"Yeah, it will be fun."Freddie says, enthusiastically.
"Yeah, I suppose so."
"Alright thats settled then."
"Boys, I'm tired I'm going going head off to bed, help yourself to the drink cupboard, since I can't get drunk." She says.
"I'll be in in 10 minutes, love. I'll get these sorted."
"OK, night boys."
"Goodnight."They all say.

I get up and grab blankets for bri and deaky. They decided to have a few drinks before sleeping. I don't want to drink, not when y/n is pregnant and om around her.

Saying Goodnight to the boys, I head to bed. I strip down to my boxers and climb in beside her. She's not sleeping yet so I cuddle up to her. She starts talking.
"Hey, I was thinking, you know how your not religious, well, its really important to my family that all the  babies are baptised from our families, but they don't have have grow up going to church, so the baby will be baptised  and not raised religiously, and I want the three boys to be godparents. I know it's supposed to be a man and a woman but they're our family and I want them to have a part in the baby's life."
I couldn't say anything so i nodded and kissed her.
"Really?"
"Yeah, if thats what you want."
"It is."
"Then thats what will happen."
"You're the best."

She falls asleep within ten minutes of talking. When she's sleeping I whisper in her ear that I love her.
