"Ocean is our neighbor when it should be our friend"
52| ONE LIFE MEANS LESS THAN THE LIVES OF MANY
The silence is loud in the room. Both brothers are looking at Luna as if she has gone mad, and perhaps she has. Being inside a prison for ten thousand years, with only herself as company, is enough to make anyone go mad. "You plan on sacrificing the dead Queen of the ocean?" Tera asks after a couple of minutes of the purest silence. With neither sibling ever saying a word, lost in their own thoughts and thinking of the words that were spoken. The sorrow weighs heavily on the room and on Poseidon's shoulders. He feels as though he's in chains that are holding him down.
When once he was one of the most powerful beings in the entire world, he now feels that he is nothing but a mere mortal. He cannot die, and he barely can be harmed, and still he feels as though he's the walking dead, and he has been harmed in the worst way possible. The wounds he has suffered are not on the outside, they are not physical. Those wounds are on the inside, and they take much longer to heal, possibly they will never heal at all. With only time able to tell.
Luna nods her head at her brother's question. "We need the one that the beings were created to kill. It was always her death that they wanted. For it would destroy this kingdom. It will not be long before my dear brother will fall. By her death, they have succeeded. But, it is her death that can be used to destroy these beings. I fear it may be the only way" Luna tells them. Then she walks towards the door. "Do fetch me when you have decided. I will have to return soon enough and when I may have all the time in the world, I certainly do not have all the time in the world" The girl then says.
Leaving her two brothers no time to even respond, the violet eyed girl leaves the room and closes the door behind her. She walks down the hallways and marvels at the dark that lives there. She can feel how each and every hallway is darker than sin, and she loves that. The cold threatens to bring shivers down her spine, but it does not bother the girl that much, and she pay no attention to it, neither cares for it. Where she has spent her days, in Hell, the air is warm and perhaps sometimes even too hot to be able to be handled.
It is not meant to be comfortable, except for the King and Queen that are there. She smirks when she touches the wall, her violet eyes slightly glowing. Luna lives for the darkness, she loves nothing more than to be within the dark. It is where she belongs and feels right at home. A sound is met her way on the other side of the hallway, and she grins when she spots though the darkness a fish swimming. A large fish, one that she would not even dare to name.
It's ugly and never would the girl touch it. Luna smirks as she walks over to the fish, who seems to be minding his own business and perhaps doing all he can to stay alive during these times of death. "If I did not know better, I would say that the cowardice within your bones are rising. Perhaps it is to be expected, the ocean carries the most terrifying creatures. I would blame my brother on such things for he has locked away all the creatures that are... fun" Luna says.
