first chapter

"Taehyun, your friends are here!" I sigh as I hear the voice from my mother but get up from my bed immediately to grab my luggage and go to the door. My friends and I want to go on a trip since this will be the last summer break we have together, because they will graduate next year and then go to university.

I greet my best friend Soobin, who is standing in front of my mother and does the casual small talk with her "Hi, Soobin-hyung". "Hey, Taehyunnie", he greets back and smiles warm at me, I can't help but smile back. He is my closest friend since elementary school and I'm really grateful to have him even though I don't show it much.

"So, please take care of my son and bring him back safely, yeah?" my mother looks worried at Soobin, who just smiles and nods. She knows Soobin for a long time, so she trusts him. That is why she allowed me and my friends to go on this trip, "Tae, please call me from time to time, please?" I nod and give her a little peck on her cheek, because I know she really likes skin ship and all. She is really different from me, but I guess children don't have to be like their parents.

I get to the car in which my other friend Yeonjun sits to take us to our vacation place. We want to drive to a near coast and have already reserved a place to stay. "Hi Hyung" I say as I pack my bag in the back of his dark blue car. "Hey Taehyun. Everything alright?" he answers right away. "Yo, what about you?" "Same here" he says again. While Soobin goes to the passenger seat, I go to the backseat to sit down. Sitting behind my two Hyungs, I wave a little to my mother and give her a smile.

Yeonjun and Soobin are a year older than me and had the idea to do a trip while summer break. In my opinion it was a great idea. It was the perfect excuse to be away from my parents and don't have to deal with other members of my family. And it will be a great experience with these two suckers in front of me. I smile when I think about what all can possibly happen on this trip at the coast.

Through the drive to the beach, we are listening to music and chatting about everything that comes to our mind. And of course, Yeonjun never failed to flirt with Soobin, but unfortunately, he didn't notice. I can't help it but feel like a third wheel. After the sentence "I'm only a fool for you" I let out a heavy sigh and shout "Go get a room already!", which makes Yeonjun chuckle and Soobin looks away while getting shy.

This guy really is a thing. We know Yeonjun since a year and we are all really close. He's not the smartest one, but he is a genius in flirting and make a certain Soobin all flustered. But Soobin... well he is smart and good in every subject, even though I'm better, but he doesn't get the hints and thinks he is straight. Every time he gets compliments from Yeonjun, or he flirts with him, he would just look away or think it is a joke. I told him once that I think Yeonjun likes him, but he was like "Huh? No, this isn't possible.", so I gave up.

These brats, I swear.

While the car goes silent, I feel that I'm getting tired and close my eyes. It doesn't take long for me to doze off.

"Taeyhun? Tae? Hyunnie?" Soobins voice calls. I open my eyes and try to understand what's happening. "We are here" Yeonjun added and points out of the front window.

The car is parked in front of a little house or more a caravan but without wheels. You must open a gate of wood and then there is a little garden. Our little place is surrounded by other buildings which looks very similar only different in sizes. We grab our luggage and go into the white little house. There is not much space. Only two bedrooms and a living room with a dining table which are connected through a small corridor that also functioned as a kitchen. The furniture looks really cozy. Most things, like the couch and the tables are grey which makes them stand out to the wood like floor. The pillows, curtains and other things have pink and white accents to light up the mood of the rooms. I really like it and it seems that Soobin and Yeonjun feel the same.

"Shall we unpack and after that head to the beach?" suggests the oldest and we both nod. Without hesitation I make sure to have a room alone. It's better this way. Firstly, I don't want to disturb the lovey-dovey acting between Yeonbin (Yes, I have a ship name even though they aren't together yet) and secondly, I like to have a room to be alone, because I really like the silence and I don't have to take consideration to anyone.

So, I ended up alone in the slightly smaller room, with a double bed and unpack my clothes.

After like half an hour we are all finished and go to the beach which is only a few meters away.

We all wear shorts and T-shirts, so we can go in the water with our feet and enjoy the coldness of the water which stands in total contrast to the hot weather. The sun is shining brightly, and I already love it here. Actually, I don't like summer, because it's too hot, but the wind makes the weather comfortable. The main reason I like it here is, that here are not many people so we don't have to speak with others and just have fun.

At the moment I laugh about a stupid joke of Yeonjun, I look in a different direction just to meet brown eyes, which belong to a handsome young man with light curled brown hair. The sun reflects in his eyes to make it seems like they twinkle. Some strands are falling in front of his eyes and revealing a little bit of his forehead. His whole face consists of pretty features, and I must admit that he looks beautiful.

I look down when I notice that I was staring but I recognize his stare still on me. I can't help but blush under the stare of the handsome man on me. What is happening? I'm Kang fucking Taeyhun. The last time I blushed was years ago, because of my kinder garden crush.

Soobin comes to my side and asks, "Everything okay?" I just nod and avoid the direction I looked at before.

"OMG Soobin-hyung!" I hear a young and loud voice and look at Soobin who starts to smile and runs towards a boy, who involved him into a tight hug. I don't need to look at Yeonjun to know that he is already jealous. They talk a little bit and then Soobin turns around and introduces the young, excited boy to us.

"Yeonjun, Taehyun, this is Huiningkai. He was my coaching student." Hueningkai smiles brightly and says in a very loud and excited voice "Nice to meet you Hyungs! Please call me Hyuka, like my friends do!" He bows a little and Yeonjun chuckled at his cute actions "Hey Hyuka". I just nod and give him a small smile.

Hyuka then says, "I have to go to my brother, Beomgyu,", he points at his brother, who is... the boy, who stared intensively at me, "because he wants to go back to the hotel. Maybe we could meet again since we are all on vacation here?" He asks and Yeonjun and Soobin immediately approve.

The boy runs towards his brother who waved at us shyly.

And I know if we meet again, it will be difficult.
