difficult // taegyu

tenth chapter

We walked around the streets and sometimes stop, looking in some stores and just enjoying ourselves. Nobody questions why Hyuka isn't around.

Maybe they remark that I don't wanna talk about it.

At first Tae and I were walking next to each other while the couple were behind us. But after some time Soobin came closer and I don't exactly know what happened, but now I'm walking next to him, while the other two walk in front of us.

"Sooo, why isn't Hyuka here?"

Silence. I'm bad at lying.

"My parents need him for something in Seoul." Long story short. I mean, I didn't lie...

"Oh, okay" He nods, and we continue to walk behind the other guys.

Taehyun turns around with a smile on his face. With his pretty smile, that makes me happy just by looking at it. But to be honest I'm not really paying attention to his smile, because his T-shirt exposes more of his skin by now.

"Hey you two! Wanna go to the beach party tonight?" I turn my face to Soobin meeting confused looking eyes. "Huh? Which party?" Soobin says what is on our minds.

"Yeonjun told me that Beomgys hotel is planning a party at the beach tonight" Tae explains and maybe I can see a bit excitement appearing in his eyes, but I could be wrong though.

"How do you know, but I don't? I live there!" I exclaim while laughing and make everyone laugh too.

"I saw a poster two days ago. And I was planning to ask Soobin, so I was thinking that it would be great if all four of us go there!" Yeonjun says excitedly and reaching his hand out for Soobins hand to join it. Before he goes to him, he whispers "Don't stare, you're too obvious!"

I start blushing and immediately look up.

"Will you come?" Tae asks me. I quietly agree, still a little embarrassed.

Now the Yeonbin couple goes in front of us, leaving Tae and me next to each other.

"Hey, what's wrong, Gyu?" Gyu? Did I hear that right? Gyu?

"What do you mean?" "You look sad and... nevermind, just answer." It's weird how his voice can turn from soft to annoyed in just two seconds. How can somebody has such a duality?

"I miss Hyuka, that's all" I don't know why I'm teling him this, but I feel like even though he doesn't show it, he really wants to know why I'm upset, "My parents want him in Seoul for a few days and now I'm all alone!" I feel how my eyes got teary and quickly look down, not letting him see that I'm nearly crying.

"Hey, look at me!" He says and his serious tone makes me really look at him.

He suddenly stops walking and so do I. We're standing in front of each other, only inches apart. I feel a tear is rolling down my cheek.

"I think, there is more bothering you. But just for you to know, I'm here. You're not alone!" And with that he wipes my tear away and engulfs me into a tight hug.

He comforts me and calms me down. For the second time I feel how my stress relieves me. I'm not gonna lie, I missed this. I need this.

After the hug all four of us spend time together. We were shopping, actually only Soobin got something and only because Yeonjun bought it for him. According to Yeonjun it was just "too cute to handle". Then we ate burgers at a fast-food restaurant. We were happy the whole time and I even got the chance to forget about my parents, Hyuka and everything else for a bit.

Tae was near me all the time. And it was really comfortable. Whenever the Yeonbin couple separate themselves from us, he was right there, making me laugh or flustered. He never gave me time to think. He never left me.

After entertaining hours, we drove back, all of us a little exhausted.

The drive itself was quiet and my brain didn't function at all so I didn't even notice that I placed my head on top of Taehyuns shoulder to get a little rest.

Right now, I open my eyes, because someone is calling my name. A really sweet voice tries to wake me up.

"Beomgyu, wake up! You have to get out" Finally realizing, that Taehyun is calling me, I raise my head and face him with sleepy eyes.

Nodding, I open the door of Yeonjuns car and after everyone says their goodbye and Tae promises to text me about later, I get out and make my way back to my apartment.

After opening my door. I immediately fall in my bed.

I'm way too confused. Taehyun has definetly an effect on me. His outfit today... Nobody can say he didn't look hot, but the view made my brain go off. And every time he showed me his smile, every time he suddenly touched me and especially when he hugged me my heart starts to beat too fast. But at the same time, I'm not nervous when he's around. Actually it's the other way around. I can feel myself calming down by his presence.

If nervousness becomes your regular feeling, you have to search for what's calming you down and change something in your life. Right there, right then I found it. I feel safe in Taes' arms. I finally calm down.

I like him. I admit it.

I start smiling. He hugged me! He really cares for me, doesn't he? Maybe he doesn't... But, I mean I have some hope at least!

I grab my pillow and hug it tight.

I may be not as smart as Taehyun, but I know the signs if someone is liking you. It really could be possible.

"I'll meet you at the beach at 7pm, if it's alright" I get a text from Taehyun. Not even an hello decorates his text but my grin becomes bigger and bigger.

"Okay, see you there :)" I answer him.

I fall back on my bed. My mind is empty, the only thought that keeps spinning around is Taehyun.

Wait- I only have two hours given till I have to be at the beach!

What should I wear? Help!

Tae will be in black, I'm pretty sure. The question is, should I make a fitting outfit with him, or should I be completely different? Maybe I can make a mix of both?

Yes, I think that is it!

After I made myself ready and went to the beach, I'm met with a breathtaking view. And I'm not talking about the Sea or the sun, which is nearly to set. Taehyun stands right in front of me. His hair is messy, because of the wind, his eyes look right into mine and a smile is playing around his mouth. His little freckles contraste with his light skin. Everything about him makes my heart flutter and I can't take my eyes of the beauty in front of me. 

And judging by the way he looks at me right now all my thoughts about my outfit earlier were worth it. I blush under his intense gaze.

Stop! I wanted to impress you, don't make me all flustered again!

And after this thought, I hear wonderful words in a beautiful voice, making my heart race and the world stops for a second.

helloooo, I'm back! Sorry, it took me soooo long to write a chapter being this short! I'm sorry for the irregular updates... school sometimes doesn't give me time to breath.
