Saiouma Drabble #3

Kokichi and Shuichi used to be best friends and they had a weird kind of rivalry because they were complete opposites. Like how Kokichi would sometimes drag Shuichi out of his homeroom so that they can play Mario Cart and see who wins first or Shuichi sometimes dragging Ouma to the library so that they can grab a mystery novel and both of them theorize what the answer is and whoever gets closest to the actual answer wins. Though one day during 10th grade Kokichi breaks all connections with Shuichi making the other upset but soon move on.

Turns out, Kokichi was diagnosed with a fatal sickness and is at the point of ending it all as his body deteriorates from the inside but Shuichi tells him that he can't die and proceeds to lie that he loves Kokichi. Even though Kokichi knew that this is a lie he accepts the confession and they start dating. Shuichi moves in with Kokichi because he needs to watch Kokichi's health. And Shuichi is in denial of his feelings, merely excusing it as him faking affection to Kokichi so that the other would continue living.

A year later Kokichi's body is so destroyed that Shuichi has to carry him around, feed him, and Kokichi's voice lacks any of the energy and enthusiasm.

And Kokichi's death scene plays out smth like this.

Kokichi lets out a breathy sigh as Shuichi holds Kokichi's neck to check the other's very faint pulse.

bump....................bump.................

Kokichi tries pushing Shuichi away, but his body could barely muster any strength, and the purple-haired male's eyes start getting foggy, he was slowly taking deep breaths. "Hey....Saihara-chan..." said Kokichi in a very faint voice and Shuichi frowned at how weak the other sounded, like he had to muster so much strength to simply say a word and the nickname that Kokichi has given Shuichi back in middle school when Shuichi's voice was pretty high for a male. 'Don't'  thought Shuichi as Kokichi's lip turned up and said "It's... My win..."  Shuichi was obviously confused by this because Kokichi was basically dancing with death at this moment. "I stole you heart...So now I'm satisfied..." And Shuichi's eyes widened as he moved a bit which caused Kokichi's head to move away from his shoulder and on the ground.

The one laying on the grass gave the other a smug expression before saying "But of course, I never loved you anyways." Before taking his last breath, leaving Shuichi staring down on the corpse of Kokichi Ouma. "Kokichi...?" muttered Shuichi as he grabbed the other's body, shaking it a bit but it was merely limp in his hands. And there on that day Kokichi Ouma died.

Kokichi only said "I never loved you anyways" as a sort of insult towards Shuichi and was just another lie from him, because Kokichi wanted Shuichi to hate him so much that he wouldn't be heartbroken when Kokichi passed away.

But of course, fate is a horrible person and wouldn't give Kokichi rest. Shuichi goes insane because he is so filled up with grief, since he know that Kokichi lied to him. This results in Shuichi digging up Kokichi's body from his grave and start stitching and tampering with Kokichi's corpse while Kokichi's ghost looks at the man who he once loved lose himself into madness. Shuichi, basically becomes a necrophile, and marries Kokichi's corpse, so delusional that he thinks that Kokichi was just in a long rest and agreed to marrying him.

It wasn't until Rantaro confronted Shuichi, having found Shuichi's little hiddy hole where he was living for 6 months and tells Shuichi that Kokichi's dead. Which of course Shuichi denies because this man has lost all of his marbles and Rantaro eventually makes Shuichi snap out of it. Shuichi comes to terms that he can no longer have Kokichi in any way because even in the after life, Shuichi can't be in the same place as Kokichi because he let his human desires consume him and make him a monster. Shuichi commits suicide by grabbing a glass shard and slitting his throat, having his blood spill all over the floor while he was still holding Kokichi's body.

And The End.

And also no they don't get together in heaven, Shuichi as punishment for his inhuman acts is cursed to wander the Earth forever while Kokichi finally passes on. And they never see eachother ever again.
