Last chapter was just shitty. I know I shouldn't push myself to make chapters even if I am sick, but I always end up forgetting them so I would make them right after. I will do a rewrite of it to flesh out what I intended it to be, but not right now. Sorry!
Btw you can consider this as a sequel to the babysitting chapter.

"Look there's mommy!" exclaimed Kohayo, pointing over to the male with purple bangs wearing an obviously oversized MCR shirt. Honestly, Shuichi used to be embarrassed of having his husband (or as stated, his wife in his kids' terms) pick up the children in his old shirts. Though the ex-supreme leader insisted that it was necessary since Shuichi's shirt was far superior compared to normal clothes, like a simple light sweater for the fall. Hishiko jumped up and down with joy, even if her scarf was slightly covering her face, you could feel the joy radiating off of the 6 year old girl.
When Kokichi got them to the car, Kohayo started talking about his day at school."How was your day?" asked Kokichi out of habit, as he put the seatbelt onto Hishiko's car seat, before placing a light kiss on her forehead."I'm tired. They made me play kickball today!" exclaimed Kohayo."Who?" asked Kokichi."My friends!" He exclaims as if it were such a great betrayal. Like their parents, their children had formed a close bond with each other, considering all of the playdates that were arranged for them to get along.
Despite being adopted, their children seemed to inherit Kokichi's eye shape, and you could imagine Shuichi's struggle to ground them whenever he looked at them. So whenever he had to set up some sort of way to learn their lesson, he would have to look away while saying it. Since it's obvious that his husband wouldn't dare ground his minions. Minions was a weird way to call your children, but it wasn't far from the truth since Kokichi would become full on dictator and order them to attack Kaito during those playdates.
"They made you?" asked Kokichi."Yeah!" exclaimed Kohayo. Kokichi gasped and whispered
"The betrayal." and Kohayo nods, arching his eyebrows as in disappointment of his own friends."I know right!" agreed Kohayo, it was obvious by now that the young boy was influenced by Kokichi's flair for the dramatics.
When they were at the driveway, Kokichi unlocked the doors and Kohayo just busted down the car door to run over to his father who was standing there with a cup of coffee. Shuichi had pulled an all-nighter yesterday and he was pretty exhausted, barely sleeping at all. Kokichi unbuckled Hishiko's seatbelt as Shuichi came by the purple-haired male's side.
Hishiko smiled before making grabby hands at the detective, it was pretty obvious what the child wanted. Even when Kohayo was in 5th grade, Shuichi was still able to lift him up with ease considering the amount of training that him, Maki, Kaito, and Kaede do.(Yes after they all woke up, Kaede decided to join in on the routine). During those training montages, Kokichi was off, being the diva that he was, he would hang out with Miu or Rantaro and just rant about politics and how Togami really needed to turn off his Karen mode sometimes.
Kokichi hummed a small tune to himself when he was looking at the postcards that were on the coffee table in the living room as his husband was dragging his children upstairs since they were stubborn to not do their homework. It would be confusing for others who didn't know the group of 16 students why there were always postcards on the coffee table, and always asked why Kokichi wouldn't send them to whoever was written on it. Well that's because there is no other line since all of them were to an organization that didn't exist, despite all of the stories that Kokichi have told.
Some of the postcards are of documentaries of the places that they visited like Norway when they saw the Northern Lights and where Shuichi proposed to Kokichi. There were also pictures attached to the postcards, and the one of Shuichi's proposal was of the two sitting at a dock, Shuichi was kissing Kokichi's cheek while the purple-haired was clearly enjoying it, despite his tear-stained face, you could see the that Kokichi was giggling as a ring was shining in the darkness. Those memories would always make Kokichi go through a nostalgic trip and the pictures were all priceless.
His feeling of nostalgia was quickly snapped when there was a large thud followed by his husband groaning in pain."Koki, your pillow fort skills are required!" shouted Shuichi and Kokichi let out his signature laugh before saying "Sounds serious!" Before running up the stairs and seeing his children absolutely conquering Shuichi, made Kokichi grin wider.
Dear D.I.C.E,
I guess you could say that my children have taken after me on being a menace to their loved ones. You should know from experience after all. Now, you may be wondering why, but that's because they were absolutely dominating Saihara-chan in a pillow fight. Feels good, really. I hope you would visit sometime, it would be nice introducing you guys to my family! Hope you'll reply soon.
Sincerely,
Kokichi Saihara
