Pregame Wedding with things going absolutely incorrectly

All of them are in their mid 20s (25 or 24)

This is just for shits and giggles, not a LOT of Saiouma content- (and also for the angst that was in the last chapter)

Btw I've never been to a wedding before so I don't fucking know if this is accurate. And the whole wedding was based off of a discord wedding that we had the other day.

"I swear to god, are you sure this is a good idea?" asked Shuichi, raising a questionable eyebrow at his other companions, Rantaro, Kaede, Miu, Korekiyo, and Kaito. Shuichi didn't like having Kaito there since they had a pretty hard past with him constantly having to come to Kokichi's rescue back in highschool. Which may or may not have boosted his ego a bit too much for anyone else's liking and he also won't admit that he was glad that Kaito bullied Kokichi since he would've never been able to talk to the other male if it hadn't been for Kaito.

But that was all in the past and in their last year of highschool, Kaito apologized and he made up with all of them for the rest of the year. But Shuichi had a thing for holding grudges, so he didn't really invite him into his little friend group, warmly. What were they out here for? Well Shuichi proposed to Kokichi 5 months ago and their wedding was coming up and well neither of them were relaxed for the whole week leading up to their wedding. So their friends decided to help them relax before the day of the wedding by sending Shuichi off and letting Kokichi have a break from Shuichi, because Shuichi doesn't know the definition of enough affection.

Shuichi was also not sure on why they were so focused on THEIR wedding specifically. He has tried proposing to his boyfriend multiple times before they hit their 8 year anniversary (They got together in their 3rd year of highschool). On their trip to Hawaii for their 5th anniversary together, but he got proposal blocked when his assistant decided to come around the corner and tell Shuichi that their private helicopter was leaving, because their driver didn't have the patience. Another time was during Kaede's and Miu's wedding when Shuichi brought up marriage, but Kokichi was too dense and thought Shuichi meant it as a joke. AND another time he asked Kokichi if he wanted to marry him during graduation, which Shuichi had to admit was pretty out of nowhere and he knew that Kokichi liked to take things slow.

That's not counting the other hundred times he failed to bring up the subject of marriage, but they were too embarrassing to recall. Not to mention it would take a toll on his pride, because he introduced himself as "Shuishi Shuhari" to Kokichi, and he passed it off as him having a stroke. Yet, when Kokichi brought it up, he never heard the end of it from his family.

Now, how the frick did Shuichi propose to Kokichi since Kokichi was too much of a shy person to be proposed in public. Well, Shuichi decided to slip the ring on Kokichi's ring finger while the purple-haired male was asleep and asked him the next morning, which went downhill, because Kokichi started crying and Shuichi nearly got his ass kicked by Rantaro when the avocado walked in on Shuichi hugging the crying figure of Kokichi and he thought that Shuichi had said something bad to Kokichi. They then decided to plan their wedding in California and this is where it led to them now.

"C'mon sidekick! We need you to loosen up before the great wedding and besides getting drunk is the best way." said Kaito which made Shuichi glare at him from the nickname that he obviously hated."Yeah, we don't want you to get too tensed that during vows, you'll end up calling yourself 'Shuishi' again." joked Rantaro while Shuichi just rolled his eyes."I think America has some decent sights here so it wouldn't seem that bad." said Kaede with a flat tone."Yup! Now let's go get drunk! Makiroll showed me the perfect bar too, there is an axe-throwing contest there!" exclaimed Kaito."If this is your excuse to throw axes while you're drunk, then please, throw it at me." said Kaede which made her wife, Miu, give her a concerned expression, which Kaede was used to at this point.
