.... Hi- sorry for being not that active I haven't interacted with the Danganronpa community that much and just fucking around in the MCYT one and before I knew it 2 weeks have passed without an update.

Anyways this can be considered the prologue of "Kouzai is Live!" going into Shuichi's relationship with Kokichi.

Kokichi hummed as he had never really experienced, well any relationship in his life considering he's always decided to stay single for no reason, just that he wanted to date the one person. Was his streaming going to save his current college debt? No, he'll have to do more part time jobs that didn't involve people hardcore simping for him and donating so many gifted subs and bits to him. He has a friend in the form of Miu Iruma who has just recently done an Only Fans for jokes and somehow she's milking the fuck out of it.

Miu made jokes about how virgins were jacking off to her boob pics and really Kokichi felt extremely uncomfortable with her bragging about how she was making money. Kokichi was more of a passive way, just doing some game streams and occasion chat streams. Really Kokichi didn't want to do an Only Fans because it would be really weird to explain to his significant other why he has that and sharing dick pics or something. Something that Kokichi promised to not do to Rantaro because his brother would go on a genocide if he knew that anyone had possession of his innocent little angel brother's privates.

Though Kokichi felt a bit uneasy considering he doesn't think he's getting his fame by his content, just by his roommate, Shuichi Saihara. A very popular streamer who has the favor of the Twitch's team. They occasionally collabed and Shuichi would occasionally walk into Kokichi's room while he was doing a chatting stream considering Kokichi tells him to keep it down when he's doing a chat stream. In which Shuichi just invited himself into the purple-haired room and just vacuum the floor and being a nuisance but since Kokichi doesn't really have it in him to tell him to get out, he just giggles and lets Shuichi squat onto his bed while doing something else.

The first few times it was just girls squealing that "ShuKuma" was in the streams, but the more Shuichi decided to invade Kokichi's privacy the chat started spamming Shuzai in which Kokichi was a bit confused considering that wasn't Shuichi's twitch username. And it got even worse when they revealed their real names on separate streams in which people just spammed Saiouma. Kokichi felt bad for Shuichi really, because everyone either seemed to not type his twitch username correctly or for some reason thought of Kokichi while they were typing Shuichi's last name.

But Shuichi just laughed as he bathed in the attention. Though of course Kokichi was bombarded with questions about Shuichi which made him uncomfortable because he really didn't understand why people keep asking if him and Shuichi were dating because Shuichi was already dating another person. Kokichi avoided questions on if they were dating, but he has said that Shuichi was kind of attractive to him at least. In which after 4 months of this constant teasing from his fans, he realized he might've caught a little bit of a crush on Shuichi. But it was just a bit of a crush and besides Shuichi was already dating another girl.

Though all of this fluff stopped when Shuichi suddenly disappeared and the internet was wiped of his presence. That being of him not having streamed for 2 months or done anything with his twitter. 'Course everyone turned towards Kokichi as the only way to get answers since their other streamer friends were avoiding that subject like the plague and Kokichi is his roommate for college.

Kokichi knew the exact reason why Shuichi hadn't been streaming that much, it was because his highschool sweetheart girlfriend was caught cheating on him and she broke it off with him which obviously destroyed Shuichi since they've been dating for 4 years and she was basically a sweetheart in his eyes. His everything if you may. So for 2 months, Kokichi just watched as Shuichi bring girls into his bed, fuck them till sunrise, before tossing them away just so they can feel what he felt, along with constantly drinking though the emo didn't seem to try and hurt Kokichi in anyway.

Kokichi wanted to send him to therapy, but that was Shuichi's choice and not his.

He could try to take away his drinks, but it would result in Shuichi going on another strike, and considering how much weight he's lost Kokichi didn't want to risk it. Shuichi lacked nutrition and Kokichi had to bribe him to eat just a bit of apple so that he'll at least survive. Kokichi has noticed how his hands seemed to be more boney, his cheeks seemed to be more hollow, and when he was just wearing a t-shirt, Kokichi could see his ribs making him bite his lip in frustration that Shuichi wasn't taking care of himself.

Kokichi was now sitting in the kitchen, holding a cup of coffee when Shucihi's door opened a girl not wearing a bra came out of the room. She stopped and pointed at Kokichi, opening her mouth to say something and Kokichi gave him a friendly smile and waved his hand at her. "Don't worry, I'm just his roommate." reassured Kokichi and the girl seemed to be less tense. "Hey Shuichi, do you know where my bra went?" asked the girl and there was a groan from the blue-haired male's room before saying "It's probably somewhere near my bed."

Shuichi walked out the room with a loose shirt showing some hickies on his neckline in which Kokichi just looked away before drinking out of his mug. "What's her name?" asked Kokichi the taller male just scratched the back of his head and said "Elli or something like that." "Ah, okay." said Kokichi, "Do you want to sleep with her? I can always make her stay longer." said Shuichi and Kokichi shook his head. "No thanks." said Kokichi, Shuichi nodded before saying "I'm going to go for a walk." Kokichi let out a quiet goodbye before the door was slammed closed.

Kokichi let out a sigh as Elli poked her head from the corner. "Where is Shu?' asked the female and Kokichi replied with "He's going to go off for a walk." The girl looked at the floor and she seemed a bit sad. Kokichi signaled her to sit next to him as he poured her a cup of coffee. "Don't get caught up over him. He's a jerk sometimes. Its best to move on since he'll just find another girl to sleep with." said Kokichi. Elli nodded as she muttered a thank you. "I thought that he could be the one..." mumbled Elli sadly and Kokichi said "Well one-night stands aren't really a way to find your soulmate.""You believe in soulmates?" asked Elli and Kokichi giggled and said "It seems stupid but yeah."

"But I wish that there is some sort of indication on who your soulmate is. Like in movies where there's a measly red string tying you two together." said Elli, Kokichi smiled and said "I wish it were like that as well, but the chase is thrilling, you have to agree don't you?" Elli nodded before Kokichi asked her "Did he drink again?" Elli looked at him and said "Well I was a bit sleepy since he was a bit rough with me and because I asked him to choke me so I was still recovering from that, but yeah he did drink, and a lot."

Kokichi's smile turned into a frown. "Ah, so nothing changed." muttered Kokichi. No shit Kokichi, nothing changed because you didn't attempt to do anything about it. "Well I'll have to go now, my classes are starting soon." said Elli and Kokichi nodded as the girl left the dorms. Minutes passed before Shuichi reentered the dorms asking if Elli was still there. "No she left not too long ago." said Kokichi, his voice cracking a bit. "Oh okay then." said Shuichi as he soon tossed a piece of paper that most likely contained the girl's number.

He soon left to his room and there was soon music blaring from his rooms and Kokichi walked over to the piece of paper that was on the ground and his suspicions were true that it was Elli's number. He felt him silently sob, just wondering how he can help fix Shuichi.
