Robbie left Herbie there in the kitchen with his mouth wide open. Robbie knew Ferbie was such a tricky one. He knew Ferbie was involved some how but he had no proof. Maybe if he..... Of course he couldn't. Robbie shook that thought out of his head quickly as he heard the school bus screeching to a stop outside. "Bye mom!" Robbie called out. "Yo Ferbie, Herbie let's go" he shouted as he slipped on his black sneakers. Robbie grabbed his bag and dashed out the door. Robbie entered the bus making his way to the fourth row. Herbie and Ferbie both scrambled out the door and sped into the bus and went to the second row. The bus door closed and the bus drove off. Robbie put his bag on the other seat. As the bus rumbled off he put on his headphones and tried to continue watching the movie: Chiron Academy (had already read the book) on MOJO, but the other kids were blasting music and singing as the bus drove through the other neighborhoods. At one of them they picked up Whitney, the school bully. As the bus continued driving Robbie heard some laughing in the back of the bus. Robbie turned around seeing Whitney and the other jocks laughing at Ned Weasley the class nerd, who was running with all his might (which was not very much). The bus always drives by his house on purpose. "Loser" Whitney shouted, laughing. "Stop the bus" Ned yelled. Robbie looked at the front at where the driver was. The driver was looking through his rear veiw mirror and laughing at Ned. Robbie wanted to say something but he didn't want to draw any attention to himself. Just then a female student with brown hair with a fading blue streak and black tips stood up. "Cmon guys enough. Stop the bus." She said. Everyone turned to look at her. The bus driver rolled his eyes and slowed to a stop. Huffing and panting Ned scrambled on to the bus, where he was immediately pelted with paper balls. The girl moved her bag off the seat beside her, motioning for Ned to sit beside her. Ned sat on the seat with thankfulness in his eyes. Robbie turned his attention to looking out the window. His mind had just began to wander when the bus pulled to a stop.
Herbie and Ferbie got off the bus squabbling about what had happened at home. Robbie stepped off the bus and hurried through the bustling crowd into the enormous red and white concrete building. Robbie walked to his locker putting in a bag with his gym clothes and gear. On the way there he saw his principal patrolling the lower school area. Robbie hurried to his first class before he could approach him. He went to the far back and sat in his seat. Sitting in his seat he realized the teacher wasn't there as yet. He popped in one of his earpods and began listening to his favorite song Something like this (What can I say? I love this song!) Looking up ahead he saw a paper war brewing. That was one of the reasons why he sat at the back, it's easier to avoid all the trouble. One of the kids was about to throw a paperball at Justin Morgan, the 9th grade bully and the schools star quarterback. Robbie knew that would draw a whole lot of attention. He knew he had to do something and fast. As the kid was about to throw the paper, Robbie looked around and discretely flicked a piece of paper and hit the kid causing him to turn around in looking for the source of the paper. Just then Jimmy, the class's busybody, ran inside alerting everyone: "Teacher is here"! Everyone started cleaning up paper and fixing benches. A couple seconds later their teacher came in and all was fixed. The Floor? Clean. The Desk? Arranged Neatly. Even the class themselves were seated. Robbie's teacher Mrs Jones looked at them all with a suspicous glance before proceeding to sit at her seat. Robbie put his earpods back in their case and slipped them in his bag. As the teacher sat down there was a knock on the door. The door opened and in stepped their principal, Mr Charlie Kent;a tall, medium weight man with a well combed black hair with streaks of grey at the sides. Beside Mr Kent, there was a girl standing around awkwardly. Upon further inspection. Robbie realized that she was the girl on the bus from earlier. Jeez! It's was like this girl was following him. After several more seconds of whispering the principal turned to the class addressing them: "This is Jessica Williams. She will be in your class from this day onwards...I expect you all to treat her with respect. Pacing the room pompously he continued: As our motto says: familia sumus (We are family). We will treat this girl like family. Understood?" The children responded with a chorus of "Yes Mr Kent". When he finally left the room, Mrs Jones stood up and went to the front to speak to class. "Class this is Jessica, as you all know". Jessica awkwardly waves to the class. "So Jessica, tell us about yourself". The class looked expectantly at Jessica. "Hi everyone. I'm Jessica, well you already knew that". She laughs a little and continues: "I am 14 and I just moved here with my family from New Jersey. I used to go to Jersey High ." Jessica said. "I like to bake, watch television , play the guitar and I've recently learned several languages. I also like to do science and I like to paint." she finished. "Well Jessica I hope you will like our little class here in good ol' Berkley." Mrs Jones said making everyone cringe(meaning being inwardly embarrassed).(Btw Berkley is a town in Emmersville. Emmersville is just the state. 60 states makes up the USA in this universe.)Robbie's watch made a loud beeping noise in the middle of class. He cringed visibly and fiddled with his noisy watch frantically, trying to shut it off. Everyone looked around at him. "Mr Malcom could you please step outside with that"? the teacher asked. Robbie got up and hurried outside and ran down the hallway to the bathroom. He finally turned off the sound on the watch. He looked on the face panel of his watch. With a panicked expression on his face, Robbie opened the bathroom window climbed up and jumped out.
Meanwhile Jessica was standing by the window in the principals office. Mrs James, another teacher was in the office supposedly to accompany her to register at the principal's office. Instead she was busy trying to flirt with the principal who didn't seem to notice her efforts. Just as she thought she would go crazy, Jessica saw a figure in a hood sneak past the window whom both the principal and the teacher were too busy to see it. "Can I use the bathroom ?" Jessica asked? "S-sure!" the startled teacher replied, snapping out of her trance. Jessica ran down the stairs and pushed the front door and ran to the side of the building. The figure was nowhere to be seen. Looking around she saw a red and blue watch with the name Robbie written on it. Jessica picked up the watch looking at it, eventually slipping it in her pocket. After one last quick look around Jessica went back inside the school.
