Robbie sat in his seat, irritated. Out of all the tricks that scum could pull, he pulled this. Doing his best to ignore him, Robbie slouched in his chair, and looked straight ahead. He was paying attention to his teacher until he felt a paper hit him on the ear. As he was about to turn around, he felt another hit him in the neck. "Why you little-" he started, getting up. "Robbie! Could I please speak to you outside?!" His teacher shouted, fustrated. "But-" Robbie began, trying to defend himself. "Now, Robbie." His teacher said, opening the door, as the class stopped talking and the undertone of whispering took it's place. Robbie looked back at Jessica and Jasper, who looked back at him with mixed emotions on their faces, before walking out of the class.
After walking outside, Robbie peered in through the window. His teacher walked out behind him, causing him to divert his attention to her. "Robbie Malcolm! What has gotten into you? A disabled young man comes to your school and you immediately try to pick a fight with him? That behavior is unbecoming for a young man, and it will not be tolerated. I want you to go in and apologize. In front of the whole class." Robbie's eyes widened. "What? But Miss Harrison-" "No excuses. Quickly now, go in please. Robbie sighed. Walking into the class, he looked straight at Jason's mischief filled eyes and smirking face, before uttering an apology through clenched teeth. Jason quickly switched back to his Franklin persona and produced a smile so sweet it could give you diabetes. "It's all good. Don't sweat it." Robbie's eye twitched angrily as he went back to his seat.
Class was finally done and Robbie was tailing Jason. He had to see what he was up to. Of course, it couldnt be anything good. In fact, even though he appeared to be wheeling himself down the hallway to the lunchroom, Robbie knew better. He knew he was planning something bad. Walking slowly up to the wheelchair, he grabbed on to the handle, and began to wheel him in the opposite direction, catching the boy by surprise. "Remember our agreement Malcolm?" Jason asked smiling. "You can't hurt me! Now, if I where you, I'd turn this wheelchair around and let me continue wheeling myself to the lunch room. Or, better yet, if you want to wheel me so badly, you can wheel me to the lunchroom and make yourself useful. Robbie wheeled Jason to the bathroom and crouched down before Jason, looking at him from eye level. "Leave my school alone. I swear if-" "Yes, yes, I know. If I hurt any of your friends you'll do this and you'll do that. Have you ever thought that maybe I just wanted to see what school is like?" Robbie scrunched his face up. "Liar! Why would you want that?" Jason ignored his question completely. "We are gonna pull this off in two days. We will meet at the fair. I happens in your town every year, right? We can meet there. If you cancel on me, or try to double cross me, it'll go bad for you." With that, Jason wheeled around Robbie and out of the bathroom, leaving him by himself.
Jasper sat in the lunch room, waiting for Jessica to come back from the bathroom. Franklin waved as he rolled by Jasper. Waving back, Jasper smiled. He really liked the vibes that Franklin was giving off. Looking up, he saw the most unexpected person. Johnathan Gatewick. Aka Johnny, his former best friend since birth. "Johnny." Jasper said, still in mild shock. "We need to talk Jasper." The boy replied, sitting at the table.
Jessica quickly changed in the bathroom stall, ready for some more superhero action. After suiting up, she looked in the mirror. The blue kind of made her seem strange. Going back to her human skin color, Jessica put on her mask and flew out the window. Activating her PSI, Jessica searched for trouble. There was a bank robbery happening nearby, with over 10 criminals. Jessica grinned. Flying off in that direction, Jessica soon caught sight the bank, which had people running out of it, screaming. The nearest police car was at least a few blocks. Looks like Shift would have to step in. Floating towards the ground, Shift walked into the bank, making her way to the vault section. Sure enough, the vault was opened, and the greedy criminals had been taking the money up in wheelbarrows. Shift stood at the vault entrance. "Tsk tsk. Aren't you boys aware that crime doesn't pay?" All the men froze, looking at the vigilante. One of the crooks laughed. "C'mon boys, let's fill this freak with a nice helping of lead!" Shift raised an eyebrow. "Oh no, they're gonna shoot me. What ever shall I do?" She said, mocking the criminals. "Oh I know! Wanna see a magic trick?"she asked. Using her telekinesis, she took apart all of their guns, before letting them drop back to the ground. The criminals looked at their disassembled guns before looking back at Jessica. One by one the men put up their hands from sheer fright. Jessica grinned. "Good choice!"
Jessica carried the criminals, one after the other out of bank, into the welcoming hands of the police. One of the officers gave her a salute, before driving off with the criminals. Reporters were buzzing with questions for the young hero. "What's you're name and how old are you?" One asked. Shift floated down to the ground smiling. "I am Shift and my age will remain a confidential for now" While reporter furiously scribbled in his book, other reporters clamoured against each other, all trying to get Shift's attention. Shift looked around, pointing at a random reporter. The crowd hushed, waiting to hear the question. The reporter stepped forward, quickly clearing her throat. "So, I have seen you around with Fortitude. Are you in a relationship with him? Are you two like, just friends or...? She finished, trailing off, with a smirk. Shift turned a light shade of red, blushing from embarrasment. "N-no, we are just friends." She said, only to be answered by hundreds of camera's flashing, capturing the moment. Floating up into the air, Shift smiled awkwardly. "That's all the time I'll have today guys." She said, doing a short wave, before flying off back to the school.
