Robbie breathed a huge sigh of releif. He couldn't imagine what would happen if he was a second later. Robbie walked into the bathroom taking up his jacket and his phone. Dusting off his jacket he put it back on leaving the bathroom. Robbie hurried to class, since a new class was beginning. Good thing the teacher was absent for the last one. Walking into class, Robbie knew he was going to have to explain why he didn't wear his watch. His mother knew he didn't want his abilities and she always left him with the choice of using it or not. Robbie saw the teacher coming to class. Good. He was on time. Then he forgot he left his bag in the other class. Hurrying to the other class he went for his back
Getting his bags, he went back to his current class,Math. He disliked the subject because even though he understood it, it made no sense. Sitting in his chair he started to zone out. All he could think about was what would've happened to his mom had he not reached in time. He continued thinking about what to do when his teacher started tapping his fingers on his desk. Robbie looked up at his teacher. Damn he is like an enderman or something. Now he regretted not listening. "Mr.Malcom!" "Could you please explain this to me?" Robbie looked at the board. The formula was rubbed off(No formula, no Answer). Robbie didn't actually pay attention. The man looked at him. "Well?" Robbie looked at the board. Scanning the room for a book with a formula, he found Jasper's book with it. "Yes!" Turning around Robbie answered that question and all the others on the board. The class sat there with his mouth opened. Robbie sat down and the teacher narrowed his eyes at him. Turning around, his teacher continued teaching. Robbie thought also about his clothes from earlier. He needed a mask and a suit. Just in case his family was in trouble. Robbie zoned the rest of class out.
Last class
Finally. School was over. He got out of his seat and hurried outside, where Justin was once again bullying someone. Catching sight of Justin, Robbie turned around and tried to leave but Justin grabbed the back of his jacket, almost tearing it. "Careful. Thats my favorite jacket." Justin looked at him. "Oh?" Grabbing him by his jacket front, Justin pushed him up to a wall. "C'mon man let's not do this." Justin smirked: "Oh yeah we are definitely doing this." His crew snickered. Robbie sighed. He didn't need this right now. Justin's crew started dragged him away to the back of the school. He started calling for a teacher as loudly as he could. A security guard saw the boys and brought them to the principal. Robbie thanked the guard, walking off.
Going to one of the popular malls in the area, Robbie looked for something that could be used as a mask. Going through the aisles, he saw some Halloween superhero cosplays. Looking through them, he saw several superman suits and even some Superion suits as well. Walking along, he saw Nighthawk's superhero costume. It was a slight bit tight, but manageable. Picking one up, Robbie spotted a couple balaclava masks on the shelves. This would help to protect his identity. He didn't want to unnecessarily scare people by vibrting all the while. Walking to the front desk, he paid for his items and got out.
Now he had to train his abilities. He began training before, but had stopped since his father's death. Speeding to a nearby alleyway, Robbie donned the suit. Looking at the back, he saw a long black cape. Robbie sighed. When would supers learn to not wear capes? Besides it wasn't like Nighthawk could fly. Or had any powers for that matter. Taking it back off, he held the the back and ripped off the cape. Looking at the suit he smiled putting it on. Drawing on the balaclava, he realized two things. One, that he should have gotten some gloves, and two, the suit sucked. Sure, it looked great on Nighthawk, but then again, Nighthawk could make some dusty crocs look like the newest sneakers. All the women liked him, even though he was the only memeber that had no powers. Robbie took off the suit and stuck it in his bag. He knew what he needed.
Checking the money he had left, he went in a store and bought a pair of carbon fiber biker gloves(pictured below)
Robbie slipped his gloves on. He smiled. They were perfect. He needed to get a jacket and some pants. He remembered he had some boots in the closet. His parents had gotten it for him when they went to that biker concert, back when he was crazy over motor bikes. He walked out of the store putting his gloves in his bag. As he headed straight over to the diner, Robbie saw a kid in the street. Quickly guiding the kid off the busy streets, Robbie gave a stern warning not to play on the streets. His worried mother looked gratefully at Robbie, thanking him for finding her child. Robbie pushed the door walking into the diner. Jasper was already there, as was Jessica and Johnny. Yikes. Johnny was looking pretty mean.
Robbie had started working flipping the burgers. Today was his day in the kitchen. Though he would never admit to it, Robbie was a good cook. His grandma taught him well. Robbie flipped the burger again and put it in the bread.
After he finished his work, he took off his hairnet and walked out the kitchen. Jasper,Jessica and Johnny were all walking out talking about a movie called Legacy. Apparently it was one of the biggest hits of the year. Robbie pulled out his headphones and put it on. He was fine watching MOJO by himself. Hurrying home he checked the time. It was 4:32. Good. He had time before curfew. Robbie opened the door and hurried up to his room, changing into his hoodie t-shirt(the shirt that has the hoodie on it.) Rummaging through his closet, he saw his black jacket and pants.
Robbie took out the jacket and pants and quickly put them on. Searching for his shoes, he realized that he couldn't find it. Walking into Herbie's room, he saw the shoes under the bed. Robbie sighed. He just picked up the shoes when he felt something small hitting him in the back multiple times. Turning around, he saw Herbie's machine flicking small rocks at him. Robbie picked up his shoes he closed the door and left.
Soooo peeps? Was it good? Let me know. Im out of food today, so next time. Until next time stay cool and safe. Peace ✌ !
