Robbie walked over to the mirror, checking out his new suit. The light dully reflected on his jacket. It wasn't any fancy super hero suit like Superion's, but it would protect his identity if he needed to save a someone's life. After taking off those clothes, he went to take a shower. After taking his shower, he did a quick scan around the room and picked up a plain white T-shirt with red shorts and went down stairs to have dinner. Herbie and Ferbie both ate already and were in their room's playing video games. He could hear their constant quarreling over the game. Robbie finished his dinner and went to watch some television. Sitting at the table Robbie ate his dinner slowly, deciding what to watch. Going into his room he turned on the TV to watch a movie, only to see the news. As a normal child would,he was about to change the channel when he saw something that caught his eye. The news was ablaze about a new Super with 'laser eyes'. On the television there were several videos of himself threatening the thugs and leaving them attached to the wall. Everyone wanted to know who this new Super was. Sighing, he looked away from the television. A tall young lady (in this scenario like 17-20)came on the television shouting. Directing his attention back to the television, he saw her arguing about the way he handled the situation. Robbie looked at the television in anger. They were fortunate he hadn't hurt them. They deserved what they got. Taking a deep breath he switched to MOJO, searching for the new movie, Legacy, he plopped on his bed, remote in hand, ready to watch the movie. He heard it was good. He remembered that they had popcorn, and hurried downstairs for some. Going downstairs, he heard the door creak open, revealing his mother who had just come from work. With a smile, he greeted his mother with a hug and eagerly asked her how she was. His mother smiled and remarked: "It's gonna take a whole lot more than some rowdy thugs to scare me." Robbie smiled. He went into the kitchen sharing out her dinner. Putting it in the microwave, he got himself some juice. Hearing the microwave ding, he opened it taking the food out. He had to admit it,for all his faults, Herbie could cook. Ferbie wasn't a slouch, but cooking wasn't his strong point. If you needed to bake something however, Ferbie was the one you went to. Between the three of them, they were master chefs and bakers. Robbie put his mother's dinner on the table and covered it. Grabbing his popcorn, he put it in the microwave and sat there watching it pop. After it was finished, Robbie picked up his popcorn and juice then went upstairs. Lying on his bed he started the movie. The movie began with a girl named Aderynn Casttele (Hats off to @WedgeTailedEagle for this amazing book. *salutes*) giving a speech. Robbie liked the movie instantly. It was intriguing so far.
By the time the movie ended, Robbie was sure he that this movie was perfect. Getting off his bed, he turned off the television. Robbie looked at his suit that he had sprawled over the chair. He walked slowly over to the chair picking it up and holding it in the light. He put on his hooded shirt and his leather pants. Putting his on his jacket, he looked for his balaclava mask which was in his bag. Putting it on, he looked in the mirror. He looked like a thief , but that wasnt his problem. If he was saving someone, it didn't matter what he looked like. Buckling he shoes, he lifted up his bedroom window letting the cool night air come in. Jumping through his appartment window, he landed on the ground ducking to avoid his nosy neighbors. Walking to a dark area of his neighborhood, he zipped through the city and on to the beach. Skating to a stop in the sand, Robbie decided to test his limits. Looking up at the moon, he took a deep breath. He never tried this before. He shook the fear away and crouched down in the sand. He had seen them do it in movies and cartoons all the while; he was sure he could the same. Letting out a loud shout, he sprang into he air with all his might, Shooting off the ground with a boom, Robbie cheered. As he shot higher and higher into the air he laughed. "Yes! YES!!!" I did it! The air rushed by his face like a fast paced waterfall. Little by little he started slowing down. Robbie looked around. Wait no, no, NO! Robbie plummeted out of the sky. "Agggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" Robbie was rapidly descending. Now he really regretted this. Falling head way, he failed his hands helplessly. Robbie spread his arms and feet apart. He started to slow down a bit more. Robbie didn't know if he could handle falling 3,000 feet. Robbie was almost on the ground now. He started to pray that he didn't die. Then he had an idea. He put his arms in a diving position and brought his feet together. His falling speed accelerated. Closing his eyes, he plummeted headfirst into the sand. Pushing his head of of the sand, Robbie got up, spitting out sand and brushing his clothes off. Never before had he been so glad for sand. Well, it looks like he really couldn't fly. Just jump really far. Which was lame. Running off into the city, he spotted a sign pointing to an abandoned railroad. Skating to a stop, he checked the sign. It was about a mile away. Upon reaching the railroad, he saw a lot of old trains and some rusty chains. Putting the trains on the track, he tied the trains to the chain. As he began pulling the train, the chains broke. Robbie sighed. Looking around for something that he could use, Robbie found none. He had to buy some chains. For tonight however he would have to use his hands. Holding the front train, he began pulling the rest of trains along. As he was pulling the trains, he tried to practice concentration. Using his super hearing, he tried to listen out for any cries for help. The screeching of the train was too much. Trying again he had the same problem. After an hour of trying, he gave up. However he realized that he started to pull the trains along with more ease. Pulling the trains along, he started a slow jog. Checking his watch, he realized it was eight o clock. His bedtime was at 9:00. Robbie hurriedly put the trains down and sped off to his appartment. This was the first time something was ever difficult for him. He was used to being able to easily lift cars above his head ever since he was 3. This felt great. Now he actually had something to look forward to. He finally reached into his semi-quiet neighborhood. Speeding over to his house, he clambered up the apartment building using the fire escape. Climbing back up to the window quietly, he opened the window, which made a soft creak. Herbie was already there waiting. He slipped inside the room sweating. Herbie smiled, saying:"Awww damn! You in so much trouble! Why you sweating though?" Robbie shushed him. "Do you think mom knows?" "ROBIIIEEE!" Ay yie yie. Robbie walked downstairs seeing his mom. "Start explaining" his mother said. "I went training."he replied "Training? What are you talking about? And why are you so sweaty?"his mother asked. "I was pulling trains. I wanted to train my powers so I could better control them." His mother's eyes widened. "Pulling what? What if someone saw you?! What if you got hurt?" "It's ok mom. I'm invulnerable. No rock or bullet can hurt me. Not even a train." he said. His mom looked at him. "It's ok mom. Don't worry. Besides, I have to make sure that I can save anyone of you if I need to." His mother held his face."Listen Robbie I don't expect you to be any Superman. I want you to live a good life."His mom looked at him with her eyes filled with worry. Giving her a reassuring smile, Robbie showed her that he was fine. "I know mom." Ill be alright." His mother smiled. "Good. Next time ask me about these things." Robbie hugged his mom and hurried up to his room. He was finally awakened. He now had purpose.
